From what i have seen of the centerfielder they have now i wish they had Nate back, i have watched him make throws from center field to home and they seem to be always off the mark when he tries to throw a runner out. At this stage or his career i think Nate was a better centerfielder,and i think his arm was as good as any one we had in the outfield above average. Just my opnion. I have not watched any games since i last wrote about this team. I refuse to watch this team until they start winning on a regular basis,when ever that may be. Go STEELERS, Go PENGUINS

This team is disgusting why would anyone spend their hard earned money to go see this team win one and then lose six or more before they may win again.They have lost my support. Thank heaven football season is here. GO STEELERS

Well, it another year for the Pirates & just pray the year 2010 is better than now. And they can spend money to get better players & May God Smile On them through next year. A f an all the way through & win lose or draw. Honey L Malik

Oh, and one more thing to the manager. When I was a kid (what did we know in the 60's), you put your best hitter at cleanup. Just what are you thinking putting Doumit batting 4th? Put McCutheon batting 4th. Ya just might score more runs per game and -- ye gads!!!!! ya might win.

The owners are stealing the fans money. Period, end of story. Compare these Pirates with the Phillies, Cubs, Cards, Yankees & Angels. Yes, the Angels. Eight, count'em. The have EIGHT hitters who are in the regular lineup hitting better than .280. The Pirates have two. We have mostly 250 or worse hitters. That's how you win ballgames -- batting. That way, you won't be 14 games under .500 with 14 losses in the ninth inning. That's right, the Pirates keep losing in the ninth inning by only one, ONE, run. Get 3 more .280 hitters and we'll have a winning team. It's not rocket science.

I am a pirate fan for years & if y-all are any kind of a fan would be one win,lose no matter what happen.And if the management would spennd money to get the players like other teams ee would have a real oirate team & so it will happen & I pray for them each day. Hang it there & be a fan!

I just have one have one thing to say is I am fan win or lose & that is the way a sport person should be & it isn't the teams fault it is the management. God Bless

Being a Pirate fan since 1955 and sitting with my Father at Forbes Field when Maz hit the game winning homer,i am now terminating my support of the team.What Bob Nutting and Huntington have done in Pittsburgh is criminal.I URGE ANYONE WHO CALLS THEMSELVES FANS TO STOP ATTENDING ANY MORE GAMES.Then and only then will this butcher be forced to sell the team to someone who wants to put a winning team on the field.AS LONG AS FANS ARE GOING TO BE SATISFIED WITH TOYS AND FIREWORKS,that's what you'll get.I for one have had it.I hope PNC Park is empty when they get back from this road trip.I am embarrased to call myself a fan any longer and sickened by what these people have done to this once proud and storied franchise,but if you are satisfied with the current state this team is in,by all means go to the games.Myself and my famil will not be a part of it any longer.

I am really tired of talking about this team but i am adding this litle note.I think the remaining six games on this road trip we will finish no better than 2 wins & 4 losses which will cement us to finish last again and secure us for a 17th losing season.I would be happy if they proved me wrong,but i don't see it happening. Can't wait for the Steelers & Penguins to be back on the Field and on the Ice. Go STEELERS Go Penguins.
