Jack Fleming's style, his unbridled enthusiasm and his undisguised fan bias for the Blue & Gold of W.V.U. and the Steeler Black & Gold, made him even more enjoyable to listen to. Following his suggestion we often turned off the TV audio to listen to Jack's play by play from the radio side. His mellow, familiar voice can never be replaced; on the air or in our hearts. He now calls play by play for games among the late greats. Thanks, Jack. God Grant Him Eternal Rest and an Open Mike.
Cheers, Gary

One of the best annoucncers ever. No one can describe a game better over the radio and allow you to see it better without watching than the Voice of the Mountaineers. I was privileged to attend West Virginia University while he was the voice of the football and basketball team's and I will miss the legendary voice that made me the Steeler and Mountaineers fan I am today. Rest in Peace Jack Your friend and Fan Darren WVU '97
