Transsexual Tammy Felbaum is charged with homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and practicing medicine without a license in the Feb. 25 death of her husband, James. Comment on the case.

Ok, obvious question....does she get put in the female ward or the male ward? Nah, this will be a case where the ACLU will make prisions build shemale wards!

I cannot begin to say what these people must ahve been feeling inside to make a lifestyle change in such a way...home surgery! OUCH! But I have to say...although I cannot understand what they did, it must have been the cause of despertaion to go through such a risky procedure in such an unsanitary placce and way! I can say though, that it seems that the prime motive for this course of action was the cost and "red tape" that people who want such procedures done must feel they ahve to go through. I am sure it isn't covered by insurance...and so Tammy seems to have found the loophole...do a bad home job so insurance has to cover the procedure to fix what horrible mistakes you made on yourself. I suppose women who want that nose job could try the same thing and get it covered?

Perversity I mean diversity must be a beautiful thing. She or it probably did not want the castration to result in death. Instead, she or it probably wanted the partner to share in a lifestyle change and thus no malice was intended. After all, all lifestyles are good and it is arbitrary to judge them.

I believe that the judge was fair in his determination regarding Tammy Felbaum...I believe that she was responsible for the castration of her husband and therefore his death...As a registered nurse I find it hard to believe that the husband could castrate himself while under the influence of all of the medication he had in his system for pain...The issue isn't about Tammy being a freak...Those comments being made are from ignorant people who are judgemental of those that are different...The issue is who castrated this man causing his ultimate death?

Tammy is not a freak...I've known her for 5 years. When My mom an I first met her we went to her house for an ad for kittens..... I was 14 at the time. I though this women was soo kool she was kinda loud but she seemed ok.She had all these pets an so many neat things ....An hour later she told us about her sex change.... You know it didn't matter. My mom an I were just shocked...But we didn't make a big deal about it I continued to look at the kittens my mom just shrugged her shoulders...We went to her wedding she came over for Christmas one year too. No one would have make a big deal about this if she was born a women. You people need to wake up...She wouldn't have killed him she needed him to much...She needs help....An no one understands that. She is the smartest person I have EVER met everyone should just leave her alone to be honest. She may have problems but...she's not a freak an she's not a monster an it makes me so sad that people are making her look like one. Know the FACTS before you start runnin your mouth people.....

Come on Dee!!! This person IS a freak of society! An invasion of Privacy? She has been up on charges of Vandalism, Molestation, Wefare Fraud.. She has been shown to keep genitals in Jars...

These are EXACTLY the people we MUST keep out of society. This is not an invasion of privacy.. The news media is the "watchdog" of society. They are there to bring these things into the light so we DO know they are happening.

She had a makeshift, filthy "operating room" in her trailer... No medical license... Animal and human waste strewn about the place...

So, let me ask you, Dee.. IF this person was NOT a "transgendered" person, do you think the media would NOT report it? Get real... Nobody cares if she was born as a "monkey".. SHE IS A FREAK, DEVIATE and CRIMINAL.

You all are looking at Ms. Felbaum as a monster or something! You have to look INSIDE a person to see who/what they really are. Ms. Felbaum is a transgendered person meaning she was BORN mentally as a female and not a male....however physically she was born with the male "parts". Having "those parts" tend to bother a person that is transgendered until they are removed, as they keep reminding the person that they are not the gender they are comfortable in. I speak of this as a person that knows people who have gone this route. Even though they never performed surgery on themselves. I think yes she lived in a very filthy trailer...she kept very crude...evidence of her..ablilty to castrate animals around the house....I am not sure about this case still because...maybe He was driven to cut off his "parts" in order to be whole. The reason the media seems to be making such a ta-do about this is because of the nature of the situation...basically a violation of ones privacy...
