To All of the Victims of Sep 11. And to their families and those who worked so tirelessly to find life where we thought it could not exist.
With the greatest of love we remember the lives you have enjoyed as children, the lives you have shared with loved ones and the lives you have given us through birth and infant nurture. We rejoice in the happiness brought to your lives through relationships you have created and the children of those relationships, who we pray, will go on to better things. We cherish the life you have spent with all of us, close or distant, friends and neighbours. And with sadness we recall your untimely passing. We remember you with the greatest of love.
All ways in our hearts.

My Condolences go out to the families. Here is a prayer our priest gave us in Church. He asked us to say this prayer every day.
PRAYER FOR OUR TROUBLED TIMES
God our Loving Creator we love you and we praise you. We wait in hope for the flowering of justice and the fullness of peace upon our Earth.
By our fasting and our prayer, cast out the spirit of war, fear and mistrust from our hearts. Replace this with a genuine love of humanity and a thrist for solidarity for all the people of your dear Earth.
Look after the soldiers, civilians, family and friends of all those in harm's way throughout the world.
We offer special prayers for the victims of terrorism; we pray especially for our brothers and sisters presecuted unjustly simply because they are Arabs or Muslims.
May all our prayers and deeds be done in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Lord.
Amen

May God be with each and everyone affected by this horrible tragedy!!! I don't think there is a single American who has not been touched in some way by these terrible events. Billy Graham said that he had been asked repeatedly, "Why does God let things like this happen?" We have no way of knowing just what God may have stopped from happening the very same day. We can only see what happened not what might have been prevented. What is so very important now is that we hurt, grieve, cry BUT find the inner strength to be stronger united American citizens. To do any less would be like letting the terrorists win! May we all learn to put things into perspective, to let the trivial things pass by and to diligently persue issues that are of greater importance.May we all learn to be better more attentive parents, more supportive to our brothers and sisters, may we also learn to be children that our parents can be proud of and may we always be respectful to our friends, families and always to our fellow citizens!!!!!!!! You see, if we are able to do these things, the terrorist has not only lost, but we have become the strongest, most independent ever!! I want to let everyone know that Oct. 5th is World Smile Day, so please, remember those we have lost by passing on a SMILE, just to let them know we will make it.

have been listening to some talk shows today, are againt a war and am not sure that is what we should do but was thinking what would the people that lost someone sept, 11, 2001 want us to. am not a violent person but am sure we cant let terrorist attack out country like they did and get away with it. as i watched tv sept. 11, 2001 i was afraid, as am sure most awericans, and i was sick to my stomach that someone could be so evil as to do this to us and any country they put their mind to.
god bless america, willie

I cannot express fully my saddness in this terrible event in our history. I only hope that the people who died in this disaster will not have died in vain. The longer we wait until we respond, the more chance we take of losing the resolve of the people, and of the Countries that will help us. I understand we cannot just lash out with no direction, but waiting only makes the situation grow worse..In 1941, it took FDR only one day to declare War..I know this is a different situation, but unfortunately, the American people have short memories. After each terrorist act on the U.S. in the past, we were angry, but after a few days we just fell back into our shells and let life go on as usual. Flag waving is one thing, but action is all the terrorists know. They do not care how long we wave our Flags, and talk tough, while they plan their next move. They do not care about killing inocent people. They only care how many they can kill. President Bush and others said these acts were "Acts of War", but as time goes by, they become more like just another common terrorist attack and nothing more...

My name is Diane Huggins and I am from 516 Eldersville Rd. Burgettstown, Pa. 15021. I wrote this poem honoring all our fire fighters and police, I am trying to get this into as many of our public servants hands that I can around the State. My goal is to see it in the hands of everyone of our fire fighters and police officers that I can. I want these men and women to know that we truly do honor them and thank them for taking their lives in danger for us everyday of their lives. Please pass this on to your friends that are fire fighters and police officers in your town. I am praying for each and everyone of you and My God bless our U.S.A. and may God Bless each and everyone of you.Diane Huggins
Poem I wrote : To Our Public Servants
There are men and women everywhere; They serve us every way! They take their lives in danger, To save us everyday! They never think a moment. of the danger they are in. They give their life for you and I; They truly are, our friends. They're our police and fire fighters; They work hard everyday! We could not live with out you; We thank you and we pray; That God will keep you safe; Out of harm's way! To wake up with your families; to see another day! We honor you and praise you; In cities and in towns. From New York where you died; To save so many lives! All across our Nation; In tribute and in praise! We thank you for your service; We honor you today! For all the brave ones fallen; that died and went away; You will always be remembered, And honored everyday! We thank you for your service; We honor you today! Written by Diane Huggins 516 Eldersville, Rd. Burgettstown, Pa. 15021 dhuggins@cobweb.net
