I cannot believe that people are still following him! I actually had contact with Ed about a year ago. I asked him to train my sales force.....He told me I should do it and that he was too busy with his band. He told me that I would hear them on the radio that summer (2003).
I really have nothing against Ed. Yes he scammed people, but we (me included) followed him - ignoring what other people were saying. He was good, but we should have listened to our loved ones when he told us not too.
The lie he tells is really good. "Ignore what other people say", "I teach success principles they don't teach you in school..", his lies were so circular that you were trapped inside them. If we only would have listened to the people that really cared about us.
Ed and his downline took to each other like family because they have to foster the "care". They are all in now so deep now (from faking it those years), that they can't fake it anymore and are stuck with each other. What are they going to do? Break away from each other and admit they wasted the last five years? - hardly.
I wish they would read this and contact me. I haven't forgotten the wonderful people I had met and "worked" with - and would hire anyone of them in my company. I was only in for a bit, but would love to sit and have a chat with them to see where they are at mentally.
