I was not in the storms but have learned of some information about Goodwill in Deland. Alot of the churches have been sending people who want to donate to the victims to Goodwill. Goodwill is ripping off the tags that the donors have made and throwing them away. Then they are taking the items and selling them to the customers. This went on till 1:00pm. The employees were not happy at what was going on. After the district manager came in for the day the Store Manager desided not to take anymore Tornado victims items. I feel sorry for all the victims, and think what Goodwill did was wrong. They THOUGHT Red cross was going to give voutres to Goodwill, without making sure first. So they excepted these items under false pretenses.

My Christmas Day Story: I had 7 guests coming for Christmas Day Dinner, and we were eating on the deck. Everyone had arrived and we sat down to a wonderful dinner, when my neighbor called and ask if I had heard the weather alerts.......NO, I had christmas music on and I was busy cooking. She informed me that there was a bad storm moving out from Orange City, and should be here in 5 or 6 min. I told her Thank You and if she hears any more to call me... Well, we were enjoying our meal when it started raining harder and the wind picked a little, THEN all of a sudden we heard this ROAR, ( like a fast moving freight TRAIN) and someone yelled it's a TORNADO !!!! Get inside NOW, well you ever tried to fit 8 people thru a door way at the same time???????? It doesn't work.. By the time we all got inside it was ALL over... The guys looked up toward the southeast and saw all the debris flying thru the sky and what looked like a funnel cloud. We opened the door and all was still in tack on the table except for the paper items. A little wet & soggy but all was still their. I live on 1st. Court, off June Terrace, where at the end of June Terrace the last 4 homes were damaged, one was turned upside down, another had a motorhome overturned into the home. I love Christmas Surprises, that was one surprise I really could of lived without.

Best Regards, Thank You Patti
