I'll miss Dave Marsh's weather reports.

I miss the days of Claire Metz in the morning and noon newscasts. Claire had always carried herself smoothly without compromising the highest level of class at the anchor desk. She couldn't be a better reporter, however, and I hope we see her around for many more years at WESH.

Marc Middleton - great wherever Channel 2 put him. He was great as a sports anchor, hwoever I thought he made an even betetr fit when he moved to news anchoring.

WESH using the Daytona Beach studio, I always thought that made the station's product more interesting (haveing two fully fuctional studios)...however big ratings are in Orlando.

I'll always be a channel 2 fan, even with the turbulent changes made.

I moved to Orlando in 1959 and remember people such as Paul Marlowe, Ben Taylor and Ken Brown who all worked at WESH-TV in those days.

Well, my most memorable WESH memory was when I appeared on the show "Discover Orlando" in 1998 with Bill Shafer and Amanda Ober. They were doing the show in location in Daytona Beach that day. I only got on the show because I was running around in the background shot when they were live, but I got on for like a 10-15 second interview. It was soo much fun and I wish I had a tape of it. My other WESH memory when my family was interviewed for BCR in Daytona Beach. The only reason we were interviewed is because former WESHer Shannon Fitzpatrick was parked illegally and the police asked her and the cameraman to move the van and my mom said you can park it in our driveway and Shannon thought she said we can be interviewed. I have other WESH stories because Jim Payne and Amanda Ober assisted me with a research project. CONGRATULATIONS WESH!
