with oil bellow $90 a barrel why are we paying over $3 a gal? Last time it was that low we were paying around $2 a gal. Lower gas prices would cause travel. People spend money when traveling..

Guess I was looking at the price of gas in Marion this time LAST year,..the price here in Melbourne,..at the Racetrac is still $2.81,...but that could change tomarrow since it dropped by 2 cents today !

I wish I lived in Marion if the Gas there is really still $2.34 a gallon,..but here in Melbourne the Cheapest I have seen today is at the Racetrac on I-95 and EauGallie Blvd. ..it was $2.81 a gallon .

The cheapest gas in Marion cty is at the BP station on the corner of 17th street and South Pine Ave. Regular is $2.34/gal and going down steadily.
The only weird thing about this station is that they are open 24/7 but never turn the outside lights on, so the station is packed with cars at 2am filling up with gas in the dark at the pumps while the convenience store has all it's light on inside.

Pain At The Tank recently did an expose on one of the gas pill products. That test proved unsuccessful. Given the heat of this topic, are you going to do another expose on Ethos FR? A Las Vegas NBC affiliate did one awhile back and found that the product increase fuel efficiency by 10%. That video can be seen at www.FuelEconomist.com/testimonials.html
I'd love to see this knowledge brought to central Florida as well.

In Daytona Beach, the gas stations to the east of I-95 off of International Speedway Blvd. are at 2.90/gal now. If you go to the west side it is way over 3.00 dollar/ gal.

Cheap gas? What a laugh! It seems that when the country is starving for a necessary product, the government should do everything in their power to make that product available, including significantly reducing the taxes they collect on that product. After all, it isn't like the government doesn't generate enough revenue on all the other taxes they collect. The proposal to give everyone a $100 check to help ease the burden of escalating fuel prices is laughable. That won't even cover 2 tanks of gas when it costs us $3 a gallon for regular. There is no such thing as "cheap gas" these days.
