Where is your favorite place to watch a space shuttle launch?

I watch the launches from my back yard as I live right across the river from the space center.

Whenever I get a chance to watch a launch, I park in Port Canaveral, then ride my bike to Jetty Park. It's always an inspiring sight.

I was nine months pregnant when the last shuttle went off. We live in Brevard County and are able to watch the shuttle from our backyard. This will be the first shuttle launch that my daughter has seen and I can't wait for her to see it. God Bless the crew.

I live in Merritt Island and my husband and I watch from our boat in cocoa, but it,s been a long time and I forgot what it looks like. I am looking forward to it. My prayers are going to be with it! Cindy Helseth

Thank you

Im new to florida and my 8 year old neice is here from New York. Id like to take her to see the launch I live in Deltona. Can we see the launch from Daytona Beach? Im afraid to get stuck in all that traffic in this heat with her. Any veiwing suggestions?

Fortunately we have, for the first time, Prime seats at "The RiverView Inn". we learned the last time there was a launch! "you don't just go and expect a place to stay", so we reserved very early this time....and I'd do it again. Same place. Mums the word, sure wouldn't want to lose my spot. Pray for traveling mercies granted for our brave crew.

God Bless us all, Marilyn

My family and I live in Eastern Orange county, so we are able to view the launches from our neighborhood. Can't wait to view this launch : )

The radio station I work for is less then 10 miles away from the shuttle. I'll be able to walk outside in the parking lot and look east.

I won't have to go far. This is my first view of a shuttle launch, so it'll be nice.
