No! Buddy Dyer is one of the few people in our local government that have put this city in a forward progression. He was elected fairly into office and should not resign unless the courts cannot uphold his innocence. In fact, we should not be wasting money on a special election either. Does anyone elese realize that the person we elect in May is only temporary?? If Dyer was found guilty, we have to pay for another election to replace the temporary mayor again. City Commissioners would have understood this if they had given the tax-paying citizens a chance to speak at the meeting that decided the special election--shame on them!!! I hope Mel Martinez, Glenda Hood and others are called to the stand to testify why they were not indicted for doing the same thing as Buddy Dyer. To Governor Bush, it seems convenient to enforce laws selectively when it caters to one's own political agenda.

i do not think he should and i am probally one of the only people in orlando that dosent think he should! Ken Mulvaney is like a little kid that cant stand loosing a game so he tries anyway possible to say the other person cheated! if Buddy Dyer was guilty of voter fraud they would of already proven it and as much as everyone hates it no one has proven anything to say otherwise! so what i think everyone should do is stop this witch hunt and let the man be as hard as that sounds cause we all know that the majority of the people in the united states thrives on chaos!

I believe there should not be a special election until after the results of the legal problems are completed. What's the problem with letting the powers in place do their job and see what happens?

That would be the honorable thing to do but as we all know Buddy has no honor.Buddy got elected, fired employees, seconds after a vote wrecking crews tore down a building. Wants to give more tax credits for condos, spends taxpayer money to study about buying OUC's water department without even talking to OUC about it. Shady Guy.

I agree with DB Jones. He has been a questionable figure since the very beginning and quite frankly he has that "LOOK". LOL

Not only should Mayor Dyer resign but everyone who was fired from city positions when Dyer took office should be allowed to sue for their jobs back. As you may recall, more than 200 City of Orlando employees were ordered to leave their posts when "Mayor" Dyer took office -- fraudulantly.
Respectfully, DB Jones
