The Huskers are Alamo bound. Are you going? How will the team do?

There will be no bowl this year, you can take that to the bank.

I think they should play the UNO Mavericks and I wonder who would win? I came to Omaha in 1983 and have seen the good times and the not so good beginning with Steve Peterson's firing of Frank Solich on a Saturday evening which was a disgusting act apparently condoned by the Regents, great sportsmen all. Well Frank Solich wasn't the greatest coach in the world but his team did a heck of a lot better than this unhappy bunch. When trouble comes it starts at the top and those at the top should take responsibility.I wish they could bring Tom back for a season or two!

I have to agree with Otocounty on this one. The future of the Nebraska football team has been going down the tubes for some time now. All I hear is nothing but positive things from the Coach. But I see no action from the players. I am getting sick of the losses. This husker team makes me sick.

The funny thing is, if you watch the play again, three of Michigan's coaching staff are blocking the way for Nebraska's LBs to reach the guy. In other words, interfereing with the play. If anything, Michigan should get the worse of the "offseting penalties". But, the game is done, I don't care which side had it worse, Nebraska still beat the crap out of Michigan, end of story.

Bronzi...both teams entered the field of play, which if the foul would have been called it would have resulted in off-setting penalties. The result would have been exactly the same and the game would still be over. Thats why it wasn't called. No coach is ever crazy enough to ask for a penalty to be called on his team, no matter how much you think they may whine. Maybe Lloyd Carr should have been "crazy" and asked for the penalty to be called on his team as well. The point is mute.
EMBRACE THE CHANGE! LONG LIVE CALLAHAN!

Actually, I'm not a football fan at all. I just find it funny that many coaches, including Callahan, whine when a reff does not call something against another team, yet keeps quiet when something does not get called against them when it should have been.

Of course after the fact I sound like a genius! But, I did say that this team would win. They are a team with a ton of heart and they never gave up. Yeah, they might have started their engines a little late in many of the games, but they never gave up! Give me a team who works their asses off, and eventually, succuss will come! Does the name RUDY mean anything to college football fans???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
