A body found in a field behind a warehouse has been identified as that of missing 11-year-old Shakira Johnson, a coroner said Monday.
NewsNet5.com and NewsChannel5 want to offer our condolences and prayers to Shakira's family.

I'm not from Cleveland, but like alot of others, had been watching the story on the news. My heart and my condolences go out to Shakira's family and friends. This is a truly sad thing to happen to such an innocent and wonderful little girl. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers EVERYDAY! May God Bless You and continue to help you through this tragic time.

ALL MY HEART CAN REALLY DO IS CRY. I JUST FOUND OUT THE SAD NEWS ABOUT SHAKIRA AND AS THE AUNT OF MISSING SISTERS TIONDA AND DIAMOND BRADLEY; MY HEART IS SIMPLY SHATTERED. SOMETIMES PEOPLE DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO SAY; BUT IAM TRULY FEELING WHAT YOU ARE FEELING. THE TRUTH IS, THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT COULD EVER HAPPEN TO A FAMILY. I PRAY THAT GOD GIVES US ALL THE STRENGTH TO HOLD ON UNTIL JESUS COMES. PLEASE KNOW THAT SHAKIRA IS IN GODS' ARMS AND SHE IS IN MY HEART. ALL THE MISSING CHILDREN ARE ALL OF OUR CHILDREN!! I am very sorry to hear what happened. I can't begin to tell you how much the sentence "Her sandy brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail" will haunt me. I want to protest outside of the jail where Daniel Hines is with a sign that reads "FREE DANIEL HINES!!" because that is the only way TRUE justice will be served. If he was to be set free then I'm sure someone could arrange for him to suffer the same fate as that poor baby! May you all find some comfort somehow, from somwhere.

I hope that you keep your faith in Christ knowing that she is in God's glory and is still with you in spirit. May God continue to watch over each and every one of you.

I am so sorry for your loss, your Shakira was so beautiful and full of innocence. I can only pray that in time your hearts can heal through your new found faith in the lord. May everyday be filled with special memories of the happy times you did have with this darling little girl.

Hello,
I'm not from the Cleveland area, but after reading about Shakira; I just had to get down on my knees and pray asking God to please bless and keep our little harmless angels safe. I am very sorry for your loss...may god keep you strong in faith and just beleive that " pain and suffering only endures through tonite-but joy comes in the morning"...your family is in my prayers- may god give you and your family the strength to make it through this terrible time .....God Bless!!

Hello, I'm glad I have Finally found a way to contact you. I live in a suburb of cleveland.I have been watching the tragic story of your beloved daughter since I first heard of her disapperence.I was in a similar circumstance when my daughter disappeared for only a few days a couple of years ago. My heart and prayers have been with you thruogh all of this horrific tragedy.At least once a day I was brought to tears of empathy for your hellishly dissrupted lives.Remembering the torment that I experienced for only 3 short days.I have been praying very hard for you.I was greattly encouraged to hear of your baptism. I guess it was like a sign that mabe my prayers did something to help you. I know for me the time was like slow motion hell on earth. I don't know if I will ever get over it.
