How do you feel about UFOs and flying saucers -- foreign space ships hovering above Cleveland or other parts of the world?

Have you ever seen an unidentified flying object or something else in the sky?

We would be a very arrogant race to think that we are the only intelligent life in the entire universe. No, I have not actually seen a UFO, but then there are millions of people in this world who believe in God and they haven't actually seen him either.

yes, I am a believer. I live in Puerto Rico and my first experience with this was way back in 1994. Since then, I have had some sightings and receive communication along with other people here, in Peru, Canada, Dominican Republic , etc. We are not alone in this universe. There are billions of stars and planets near and far from us andlogically it would be soselfish to believe that God, the way we understand it, would create so many stars and planets to only have life in one. (us).

Sincerely yours,Carmen

In the mid to late 60's friends and I were driving down Superior Avenue in Cleveland just around 45th Street, we looked to the right side of the street over the top of some flat roofed buildings we all saw something in the sky that was kind of hovering over the top of the building and then suddenely sped away very very fast. It was a very large and was boomerang shaped. You could tell it was extremely large, even though it seemed to very high in the sky. This all occured in the daylight hours it was really erie. We were all teen agers at the time and we knew we were looking at a UFO and it just about scared us to death.

Sincenerly,Gloria

I feel that it requires a whole lot of arrogance to insist that intelligent life in outer space would be interested in us here on Earth. We are but a tiny speck on what we see as a gigantic planet in the incredibly vast universe. We are very fortunate to spend what little time is given us to enjoy life. We need to stop imagining ourselves as some sort of big deal. We are nothings when compared to the big picture.

Yes, I am a believer--once you have seen something that defies all logic and previous knowledge of air craft, you do start to entertain the possibility of other beings, places, modes of travel, etc. Upon reading Marilyn's account of her Mom's sighting in Novelty, I was taken aback, as my husband had much the same experience in the late '80's or early '90's on Fairmount Blvd. on his way from Russell{Novelty} thru Hunting Valley going to work. Early AM, still dark, nobody on the road with him. All-encompassing brilliant light on the car from above, and a sense of losing track of time, tho only for a short span. He did not tell me of this unique experience until several days later. Has always puzzled us--especially him, because he was always a die-hard skeptic!! Don't know what to make of this--do you s'pose we'll ever unlock the mystery???!!

Sincerely, Lily

Yes, I'm a believer. It would be frightening to me if there ISN'T a higher form of life existing somewhere.

Yes, I believe in UFOs. In 1980 or 1981 when I was about 17 or 18 I lived in Parma and we lived at the end of a dead-end road that had woods in the backyard and a large pond. The house had a large front yard and sat alone way at the end of the road and it was very quiet back there. Our family room faced the woods/pond and it had large picture windows and the curtains were open this particular night. We were watching TV (the back of the TV was against the windows) and I suddenly saw something hovering above the pond and trees that surrounded the pond. I asked, "What's that?" to my family and they all looked, too. It was a little bit smaller than the UFO in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" but not much and it was glowing (a yellowish-white glow). Going around the middle of it were many different colored lights (square-shaped) intermittently flashing all around the craft. The entire thing was lit up. There was no sound. It was beautiful and huge. It wasn't some tiny saucer like the size of a car or truck -- much bigger. It stayed there for maybe 10 seconds and then went upwards very fast as if something sucked it up into a different dimension and disappeared. We stepped outside after it left but never saw it again. Another time, years earlier when we lived in Novelty, something followed my mom's car (in the air) home from work very early in the morning (she worked nights) when it was still dark. She got scared and ran in the house as soon as she got home. Another time, at the same house, she was looking up at the sky and saw an object make a 90-degree turn at an extremely fast speed and an airplane/helicopter can't do that.

Marilyn
