This week, NewsChannel5 began broadcasting the its local news programs in high definition, expanding the station's HD programming to more than 12 hours each day.

NewsChannel5 also unveiled its switch back to the Circle 5 logo.

We want to know what you think about the switch to HD and the new logo.

HD TV signals including channel "5" is too weak in Akron, Ohio ...sometimes good sometimes not....75% of the HD signals need to be stronger or I might just give up on TV and stay with the internet, Videos, and DVDs...

To begin I am over-whelmed with HD CH210 (WEWS)in North Ridgeville. Great viewing. On the other hand I am totally under-whelmed with WEWS's stifling liberal philosophy as championed by Stephonopoulis(sp.?) and by the ridiculous advertisement for the Oprah's program pushing cures for "global warming" when, of course, such a climatic phenomenom is more aptly classified as opinion not fact!

I have greatly reduced my viewing of WEWS for fear I will be subjected to more of George S's drivel as well Gore's griping.

All my HD signals come from antenna. I have no cable or satellite.

Unfortunately, Channel 5's signal does not come in as strong as 3, 8, 19 or even channel 49.

Because of the weak signal, the HD blips out all the time making it unwatchable.

I was wondering what kind of change happened? Every since the upgrade, when I watch Channel 5, my TV reboots. I have had the TV over 1 year and haven't had any problems with the HD broadcasts until now and this only happens with channel 5.

I am pleased that Channel 5 is now broadcast in HD; unfortunately our cable company in North Royalton (WOW!) is telling us that ABC is not feeding the local stations the HD signal and therefore WOW is not transmitting channel 5 in HD to its customers. Is this accurate? Why can I receive CBS, FOX and NBC in HD but not Channel 5? Are any other WOW! customers having this problem? It is Channel 200 on the WOW! cable system that is coming through as a blank screen with "channel not available" on it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
