Eddie, I want you to know that I loved Gerald and I admired how much he loved you, your relationship was great and should be shared with fathers and sons all over the country. My heart is heavy for you and your family. I know that Gerald was at peace with himself. I could read that in his songs and lyrics.
Eddie, my family and friends are praying for you and your family.
May Gerald rest in Gods arms forever!
May God be with you, Lynda Jones-Owings

Gerald Levert is an icon in the black community. His legacy will live on in the hearts and souls of many for years to come. He is now a part of the archives along with Luther, Barry, Marvin, and the many others who went on home before him. Rest in peace my brother. One love. Carolyn

I have been hearing the name Gerald Levert for a long time his name is synonamis to R&B and Soul music. I remember his song Cassanova that he made when he was with Levert.Even when he made it big he chose to continue to make Cleveland his home. A lot of entertainers would have moved away. Gerald accomplished a lot in forty years.I wish his family sympathy and empathy in their loss
just for right now
