Cleveland police Officer Jonathan Schroeder was shot and killed in the line of duty this week.

I did not know AJ,but as I sat and watched the funeral yesterday on TV what a great tribute to him,like they said, you almost felt as if you did know him even if you didn't,What a hero he was and always will be, I just want to offer my prayers to each one of you in this sad time, God bless each one of the officers that put their lives on the line for each of us daily,they are all heros in my eyes. just remember that AJ is now your angel watching over each one of you,he will always be with you,God Bless your family.

I lost my husband 7 months ago. We have 5 children, 15, 10, 9, 3 and 2. He passed 2 weeks before his 29th birthday. While my husband died unexpectedly and not due to his line of work, I understand how hard it must be for you. Somehow you get through. Pull the strength from your son and allow yourself to grieve. My prayers are with you.

Dear Mrs. Schoeder and family, My deepest sympathy to you and your family and friends. I know and understand the loss of a husband and friend and grieve with you. I also know the loss of a great hero, as my late father was also a Cleveland Police Officer and I am thankful for their courage and love. I pray someday you will find peace and understanding in knowing he is with you all always. My heart and prayers are with you and your family and friends at this time

What a horrible tragedy, my prayers go out to the family of 'A.J. I went to Kent State and A.J was a good friend to so many, and he was known for that smile mentioned so many times. We will all miss him, we have many fond memories of college, and all the laughs we had, A.J always kept us laughing.... we will all miss him.
