Six Marines from a northeast Ohio division were killed in Iraq Monday and 14 more killed on Tuesday.
The Marines were part of the Third Battalion 25th Marine Regiment. That is a reserve unit out of Brook Park. It is located on West 150th Street.
NewsChannel5 and newsnet5.com want to offer their prayers and condolences to the families.
Please leave your thoughts and messages here.

With the great news that the 3/25 Marine Reg. is arriving back in the states, we can all put out the "welcome home" mat on our communities door steps.
The City of Brook Park Ohio residents' still have hundreds of American flags displayed on their windows (that were posted in August). When the troops see this massive display of support for them, their morale shall soar.

My condolences to the family and friends of the fallen Marines from the Brook Park Unit. May these fallen heroes rest in peace. It is because of these brave men and women that we can sit here in comfort, and express ourselves FREELY. From former sailor, again I say my deepest condolences.

Although I may not ever stand in your shoes, my heart hurts for you, my tears are shed for you, and my prayers are offered up for you. I may not know the extent of the pain you are feeling, but I do know that we all are mourning with you. I lost a loved one 5 years ago...my sister, the pain will never go away, the hole in your heart will never heal, but if you open your heart and your mind, they will comfort you. God Bless you and your family! Your loved one will never be forgotten. Semper Fi

Thank you for your sacrifice as well as your soldiers. I will never forget the newscast of the Saddam statue being drug thru the town in Iraq. I think that we need to finish the job, if the senior Bush had been allowed to finish the job the first time, perhaps we would not be in Iraq with such a huge job and huge sacrifice of life. May God Bless You and America and bring our remaining troops home safely as soon as possible.
