Thousands of people have been flocking to healing services so that Dr. Issam Nemeh can lay hands on them. Have you gone to a service? Do you believe in miracles and the power of prayer? Share with us your thoughts.

Healing Services are providing psychological strength. Prayer also can give inner strength to the faithful. None of these faith-based measures will come close to modern medicine. If you have cancer, please seek medical help. Prayers and the laying on of hands may help you gain inner peace, but it won't cure a disease that, left untreated, will prematurely end your life. People would do well to accept a permanent affliction rather than seeking a miracle cure. There are worse things than living with some kind of shortcoming. Life is just a bowl of cherries, and too many people simply refuse to dig in!

it is important that we understand who it is that is doing the healing. Jesus Christ (Christ meaning the anointed one)is the healer and where ever he went healing's took place. So in order for us to understand about healing's we must refer to the word of God. Jesus said in all things pray and believe. In the book of Matthew 9:27-30 Jesus asked the blind men do you believe that i am able to do this? This is the question that God has asked us---Do you believe? You see it was there faith in Jesus that there eyes where opened. So it's important to remember that if we are seeking a healing from Dr.Nemeh we are in error. We must seek the healer who is Jesus Christ. Dr. Nemeh is joining his faith with ours and believing that God will according to his word Isiah 53:5 by my stripes you are healed. That we would receive our healing by faith in who Jesus Christ is....

I just attended a healing service two days ago. It was truly amazing. Dr. Nemeh and Cathy are sincere, self-less people. They were at a church in my hometown and prayed over people from 12:30 pm to 2:30 am and they don't accept any donations for themselves. My cousin witnessed a healing of an 11 year old boy who was blind in one eye and within 30 min. of Dr. Nemeh praying over him, he could now see out of that eye. Not every person will be healed. Dr. Nemeh prayed over me-I was a little nervous, and cold as he was making his way around the room toward me. As soon as he was praying over the man next to me, I could feel much energy and I became very calm and peaceful. I did fall back as he was praying and was able to stand after probably 30 seconds or so. As far as comments on Dr. Nemeh charging people in his office-he needs to make a living for himself and his family. How could they survive if he didn't charge people?? I urge everyone to attend a healing service before making any judgements. His heart is definitely in the right place and I commend him for his total belief in Jesus and his mission to save souls. God Bless him and his family!

Look, people can believe what they want to believe. If belief in a supreme being gets you through the tough times, great. I'm happy for you. What I object to is that the station broadcasts his schedule and "healing" services as news, when there is no investigation or objectivity demonstrated in the stories at all. As a human interest or religion story, I have no problem with it, but not leading off the 6 o'clock news.

I attended a recent service with Dr. Nemeh. I was there in support of my sister-in-law who has breast cancer. I am a practicing Catholic. I found the entire healing "team" to be sincere in their mission. I believe in the power of prayer. I also believe that what we ask for in prayer may be answered in a way other than we expected."healing" doesn't necessarily equate to a physical healing. It can be emotional as well. If you have faith, you accept the healing service objectively. I felt it was a unique experience. Dr. Nemeh shares his gift with anyone who wishes to receive it. Those who do not believe in this approach are entitled to their opinion. However, they should not criticize what they don't understand.

Just when you thought Dr. Nemeh's 15 minutes of fame were up, more free advertising for the "good" doctor, and now his daughter's CD. When will it end??

People believe what they want to believe. Those who are chronically ill want to do nothing more than relieve the pain, agony and suffering. If they can do this by going to a "healing" service no harm done. It's mind over matter basically.
As for the good doctor charging fees for this in his office...well if you want to spend your money on this then its yours to spend on whatever you choose.
I personally do not believe but I did take an elderly Aunt to the session at Sts. Peter and Paul Church a while ago. It was very crowded of course, but the people patiently but anxiously awaited their turn.
Did she get healed physically...no. But her mental status improved almost 100%. She had something else to think about other than her illness. So to her it made a difference...to us, her family, we were happy that she was happy.
