A new reality show set to hit the air this fall on ABC is causing quite a stir because some viewers must think the show will include sex.
ABC officials said two women will get a chance to experience another family's lifestyle, along with adopting their daily routine, such as parenting, shopping, doing housework, and creating budgets.
Are you upset about the show? Tell us your thoughts.

I agree. Programs like this and Desparate Housewives are disgusting. Pretty soon the only channel the kids will be allowed to watch is static. Let the networks know this crap will not be tolerated.

no, I think it is a good experience for both families to see how other people live. Some people clash, but others see things differently and try to fix things in their family.

As an experiment this is not so bad. As "reality television" it is clearly a series of stupid situations that would never happen in 10 lifetimes, much less a few weeks.
One episode had an African American "substitute mom" go shopping for shoes for her teenage Caucasian "substitute sons". We were lead to believe that these almost-grown boys have never in their lives worn shoes, and that this is a totally new experience for them? Who is THAT gullible?
If you want us to watch reality TV, give us REALITY to watch, not some concocted baloney that you feel makes for "good viewing". It's stupid, and you are selling your audience short, because ONE quick look was all I needed to know it's time to flip to another channel.

I personally think this is the dumbest idea for a reality show yet.

Raising kids is not hard work. Keeping up a house is not hard work. WORKING is hard work.

Frankly, the show is the dumbest concept they have come up with yet. It isn't bad enough kid's minds are messed with on a daily basis--now they have a "new" mommy to mess with it even more. What is the moral of this story? If you don't like your own home switch with someone else?? TimmyC--for your information there are plenty of women out there who work 8-10 hour days supporting their children because a lousy, no-good MAN left them for one of the babbling idiots who sit around and do nothing but look good. This isn't a gender issue--it's about responsibility. Try working all those hours, coming home, fixing dinner, doing laundry and dishes, cleaning the house, helping with homework, bathing and putting kids to bed, and then paying bills. Trust me, many women deal with lazy husbands as well as men dealing with lazy wives.

Wife Swapping? Mud Wrestling? Biniki Parading? Bed Hopping? Is anything really left to "offend" anyone, when we've seen it all?
How about that Funeral Business Family? They hate each other, yet WORK together everyday? And we are supposed to be entertained by joining their dysfuctional mess of a family? They should be ashamed to air such filthy laundry in front of a national TV audience. No paycheck is worth that kind of humiliation. I feel sorry for each and every one of those matrimonial losers. Am I shocked? No, just mortified!

"Offensive" TV shows have existed since day one. What's offensive to some is entertaining to others. Whether it's Uncle Miltie in drag, Chrissy doing her weekly jiggly-giggly, or Howard Stern parading his topless biker chicks through the studio.
With all of the choices out there, I just keep right on flipping when something stupid pops up. I'm actually much more offended by a weazel-face like Pat Robertson discussing his latest chat with God than I am of people talking with inuendo about things they should keep to themselves.
Those reality show participants better get a lot of money for their efforts, because I'd be embarrassed to say and do the things they let millions of viewers see. None of them can ever work as a teacher in any state! They are forever shamed. Don't they have mothers?

And everyone thinks same sex couples are a threat to marriage? It's shows like this and My Fat Obnoxious Fiance, Marry a Miilionaire etc. that are more of a threat!
