Will the Green Bay Packers finish this season in Phoenix in the Super Bowl? Or are we in for another disappointment?

Does this team have what it takes to be champions? Record your thoughts!

Thanks to the Packers for a great season. While I would have prefered to watch our Packers crush the Patriot's dreams, I did enjoy cheering on the Giants in their victory!

Further thoughts, I can't express how disappointed I was in the GB fans. Like the commercial; tickets to the game:$970, gas to Lambeau Field:$75, Packer Hall of Fame:$15, brats, soda and game day program:$29, experience for my 7 year old son:worthless. We paid for 2 seats, but barely got half a bench seat between the two of us (10" of space). Despite having my son (decked out in a full-face knit hat under his packer helmet), people would not move to give us a little space (our repeated requests for seat space were largely ignored), and were openly hostile towards us when we were forced to stand in the aisle to watch most the game. I can't imagine how many new words he learned from Packer "fans" screaming obscenities at the handful of Giants fans in the vicinity, and I doubt I will completely get the chewing tobacco stains out of our Packer coats from the drunken fools sitting in the row behind us. We will always be proud Packer fans, but that experience at Lambeau Field has certainly shown us that not all Packer fans are as courteous and generous as people think. From now on, we'll cheer our team to victory in the safe and secure confines of our living room.

Lesson learned a long time ago - we had the #1 state ranked BB team down by 12 at half in the Sectional Finals (winner went to state tournament). We lost the game, and the bitterness in me wanted them to get blown out in the first game at state. Grampa had a different angle - he told me I should actually CHEER for the team that beat us. Huh? "How much better will it sound to tell people you had the State Champs down by 12 at halftime of the sectional finals", instead of "We had the former #1 ranked team in the state down by 12......" Moral of the story: GO GIANTS! If they can pull off the Superbowl win, the Pack will have gotten beat in the NFC title game by the SuperBowl champs, which will make that game a whole lot easier to swallow. If not, well, the Pack beat themselves last Sunday.

Ok, I have to laugh a little. I cannot believe how many Packer fans (I know - not all of them) have now said they will be cheering for the Patriots. If I remember correctly, they were all rooting for the Giants to beat the Cowboys. The Giants had nothing to do with ending the Packer's season, the Packer's ended it for themselves. They just didn't play good football on Sunday. Bottom line. I think everyone had expectations that got in the way of just playing a solid game of football. You could see it on the sidelines. There was no sense of urgency until they realized that this could be it.

I guess I'm just a little confused that now people (who originally saying they would love to see the Patriots lose) are not cheering for them. To my Packer friends, it's time to move on. Look ahead at next year. I feel the division will get stronger and it should be a very interesting and great season for 2008. Look to the future and don't be so hard on the Giants - all they did was play the game a little better that day.

Hiss!, Hiss!, Hiss! That question was answered in the negative around 9:05PM on Sunday, Jan. 20.

Well everyone got what they wanted in a game. Good game right to the "bitter" end. no pun indented. In the end however Favre's interception was the straw that broke the camels back. Good game guys but now we have to watch the Patriots kick the Giants rear now. Being Steeler fan I feel for the Packers pain. We lost with a last second field goal but then again I couldnt see them beating the Patriots either. Unfortunetly the "Road to Glory" just became the "Road to disappointment".

It's time to end games in extreme conditions. It's simply brutal and downright unhealthy for the players and fans. No games under 20 degrees and no games over 90 degrees. Work it out, make it fair and sportsman like. Delay those games or move them out of town. I'm no sissy. I am just about 74 now. I was born in the UP northwoods near Escanaba and until 16 I lived in a house with no electricity or indoor plumbing and just a fireplace for heat we didn't dare keep burning at night. I live in Madison now and still don't use heat in the winter. This is Saturday night before the game and I am sitting here unheated too in 8 below zero and feel just fine. Yeah, I'm tough and old and gritty mean former Marine too. Knock off the game extremes. They are archaic and unnecessary. I just don't want you to think I am making excuses because the game hasn't even started yet. If GB loses it will be because of the frozen foot of kickers and a bad snapper at center. I think the rest of the team can handle it. Green Bay can beat the Pats if they pull this one out.

I love watching the Packers ...but lets be real here. The Packers should make it to the the big show in AZ. The reality is The Patriots are Cheaters and will Cheat to win the big game. How else could they have went 16-0 ? They got caught for cheating at the start of the season for spying and not only that but for making copies of all the other teams plays on offense and defense. So if it were any other team against the Packers ....The Pack could win. It's hard to win against the Patriots when they know what your going to do on the playing field. Good luck anyway to the Packers...Go Pack !
