Manchester's new baseball team will be called the New Hampshire Primaries.

What do you think of the name? How about the look of the logo? Do you plan to buy Primaries merchandise?

Why not call the ravens the ravens? Nobody wanted to see N.H.'s "new team" play the last few years so they left New haven but at least nobody disliked the team name?

I am glad they did not name the team Mountain Men because we have the mountains up here in God's country, THE GREAT NORTH WOODS, Also why should the rest of the state pay for this venture when Manchester wants to be the whole state anyway. Once you get past Plymouth, we are more or less alone, and we like it that way. We have the most beautiful part of the state anyway.

Thank You Sud

PLEASE - Not Fisher Cats, or Fishers, as was corrected. They are nasty predators, who love to dine on kitties/cats, and don't kill for food but for fun.

My high school logo was the "Mountaineers" - and in the 1950's I found it kind of boring - now I find it perfectly appropriate - and no problem with the logo - you can find a mountain most anywhere, and super-impose "The Old Man" on it.......

First, there is no such thing as a Fisher Cat, only Fishers. I would hate to have New Hampshire residents thought of as...well, DUMB I guess. The FISHER is a member of the weasel family and NOT native to NH. Though I don't really care for any of the five choices,I voted for the Mountain Men so that maybe there will be just one more thing to carry the Old Man's profile.

Just voted for Manchester Millers....but...what will the logo be?? How would you represent a Miller? Don't think much thought was put into the 5 choices based on some eye-catching logo. Any ideas?

Good thoughts, Viv St.Hilaire

OK, I'VE READ ENOUGH. MY THOUGHTS ARE THESE: THE TEAM GOT PLACED IN MANCHESTER. GOOD, MORE REVENUE. THE TEAM IS AFFILIATED TO THE BLUE JAYS SO HOW ABOUT THE MANCHESTER MOCKINGBIRDS, MANCHESTER MILLENIUM, MANCHESTER MILITARY, MANCHESTER MANHUNT. IF IT'S TO BE A N.H. NAME LETS GO FOR N.H. NUGGETS, N.H. KNIGHTS, OR EVEN N.H. COURT JESTERS.

The Manchester Kings, from "The Queen City"!

Just like that with its quote!

I think that fact that the old man went to pieces should be a reason not to use it. If you think about it, the majority of other teams don't represent a whole state. You might as well call them the Queen City Princesses. Go Ravens! or Manchester Kings!

I don't think the Primaries Is a good hit huh.It has nothing to do with baseball.
