The nine Democratic presidential candidates met for a debate in New Hampshire Dec. 9. Who do you think won the debate? Do you have a better picture of the candidates now? Did the debate change your mind?

What about the campaign in general? Is the race in New Hampshire over already? Share your thoughts.

I thought the debate was very good. It would have been better had the candidates challenged Kerry more, Dean was the only one that did. I really think that Sharpton Kucinich, and Leiberman are just taking up precsious time that could be used by the candidates that have a chance to win. Dean or Edwards would make really good presidents, Kerry is just another carrrier politican that will say what ever it takes to get votes. What has he done in ninteen years in the senate not much. Dean has really been treated unfairly, the more I see him the more I like him. He is a man of conviction. We should be thankful to him for standing up to this president when no one else would, and he was right. Edwards is also a good man with a good message. He has worked hard to get where he is, he doesn't have a rich republican wife paying his way. Maybe it should be a Dean Edwards ticket no one has mentioned that. If Kerry wins it will be the same old thing where seeing now.

I believe Dr.D came off the best offering a demeanor that belied how the media tried and managed to skewer him as some whacko..They failed to pan his 3500 wonkers he was pep rallying Monday eve and the symbolic "roll up sleeves" and continue to work even harder...The shame of it all but beyond...The Bush/GOP folks are actually "pushing" for Kerry and Edwards whom they will easily defeat for in case one has not noticed...the MIS-adventure of INSTIGATED war does indeed have resonance with many and that includes those of BOTH parties and independents and therefore, opportunity for crossovers..and the infusion of those NEW to voting, enegized by the Dean brigades and realizing that Dean is NO far out LIBERAL but actually a middle roader who does have management skills and who does allow passionate/heart-felt concerns into his mind to consider just how BEST for ALL to resolve pertinent issues!!! Other's may prefer to stick with George who uses HIS "gut-intincts" , but would suggest truly investigating just what his true record consists of...Yes indeed, genetlemen C's and Yale and Harvard degree's (thou NOT on HIS SCOOL performance record, the ACTUAL capability of being "eleigible" for admission if NOT for Family connectivity) Check out his BIZ adventures...or perhaps "mis-adventures"..gee, check out those stock trades just befor company declares bankruptcy and more and those fortuitous helping hands from FAMILY FRIENDS ...For sure, check out his questionable "military record" and YES IT IS DEBATABLE, and his MILITARY SERVICE RECORD shows A GAPE/HOLE in fullfillment but my, you can drool over that custom made flt suit and parody that he flew the jet for a moment at controls as he landed on the Lincoln to announce "mission accomplished" when NOT so and do NOTE in his MILITARY RECORD...HE HAD BEEN GROUNDED, could NOT fulfill PHYSICAL EXAM ......Yeah...charades all but such a willing audience and cannot blame for the truth is rather hurtful!!!!!!!!

think it intersting that folks say so disenchanted due to Mondays Dean "concession" scream...First, was NOT a "concession", was a rally in response to the 3500 wonkers who had worked hard in Iowa and were getting ready to head to NH to assist here...Like how closeted are folks who have NOT attended a pep rally befor and/or rolled up sleeves which was mere symbolism of getting to work...THAT said...Dean did great in the debates this eve, and gave an excellent interview with ABC Sawyer...now onto Letterman and onto winning this primary and others and onto taking back the WH from the Bush cable...OR, you could go for Kerry and Edwards if you like the losing position as in case as so many have seemingly failed to note...those dollars Dean HAS collected...small denominations...think the max allowed is a mere $250, so to get to the 15+ million dollar mark, figure it out...that means not some mere fringe leftis group backing, that means many of the ordinaries who could chip in and declare backers did so...those numbers are more awesome than realized...Dean did NOT collect CORPORATE DOLLARS....nor dollars from his wife....You LIKE what Bush has led this country into? You truly willing to pay a price that so far has been so very much more than ANY of us should have even considered bearing let alone casting forward to be put on childrens backs in the future? YOU THINK FOR REAL that this instigated war was HONORABLE? Even thou showed as so FALSLY premised and manipulated into being? You REALLY think the USA is safer? get a REAL REALITY CHECK...Even the capture of Saddam is nothing in the bank for AMERICA's security....and yeah, yeah, yeah...Saddam was nasty and all that but you seem to fail to realize--the USA supported and supplied him and those mass graves? That happened with our support and our supplies so that makes the USA culpable as well in regards to those deaths and others and as to the reality--that is indeed why so many hold in their hearts a hatred for the USA in that region. No, I will NOT vote for the likes of Kerry or Edwards and certainly not Joe...but I will give Dean the benefit of ability to accomplish at least taking back this country for us ordinaries and will cast a vote for him.

Dennis Kucinich is the flake who caused Cleveland to declare bankruptcy when he was mayor. All you liberals who support him, check his record! LOSER! Dept. of Peace - smoke some more dope. I also knew Dennis in a previous life - we were soul mates! Get a life!

US citizens won the debate - those for or against one or more of the candidates. Dennis Kucinich led the winning team, focalizing the disservice of television media in manipulating freedom of information as well as freedom of thought. The media cry of canned responses from the series of debates is a projection of the sensationalized questions and paltry timeframe allotted candidates to speak.

Honesty, bravery, and dignity won the debate. Well done Dennis Kucinich. And from NC watching NH, thank you. daisie

We are not victims of the world we see, We are victims of the way we see the world!" ~Dennis Kucinich

DENNIS KUCINICH delivered a knockout blow to the blowhards with blowdried hair who spend their time telling us who the front-runner should be rather than reporting on the candidates and the issues.

Dennis was right-on when he called Ted Kopout on the carpet for his "trivializing" efforts.

Americans want to know who can lead us out of the morass in Iraq, economic recession NAFTA "free trade", rolling back our civil rights under USA PATRIOT Act, educational mediocrity, and horror of health care in this country.

I'm certain if the issues were discussed instead of the media-created horse race, DENNIS KUCINICH would be the odds-on favorite based on policy, not popularity contests.

Hey, just found out that the DEBATE for the 8th Jan has been cancelled!! Is this a "Big Surprise"? I think not.. I am glad the Candidates have said no, they can not make it.. Only problem, is that I wanted to watch it for the comedy value!!!! GO DENNIS--PLease note he now has 18% of the Vote as winning the so called debate.... Go Dennis, Go!!

I thought Congressman Kucinich won the debate. First, he clearly demonstrated how his candidacy is unique among all the contenders. Second, he received the most sustained applause of the night, when he rejected Koppel's inane line of questions. Dennis Kucinich has concrete ideas on how to fix the problems this great nation faces. He is a man of substance, and these moderators want to focus on the fluff. I think this debate is a defining moment for Dennis Kucinich. - sincerely, greg

The 'debate' was a fiasco! They spent an inordinate amount of time discussing Al Gore's endorsement of Howard Dean. Stupid Question #1: Who on this stage believes Howard Dean can beat George W. Bush in 2004? The moderators apparently don't know how to run a debate. They asked each candidate different questions. For a debate to truly bring out the differences, if any, in the candidates, each candidate should be allowed to respond to the same question. Rather than bash Bush, the candidates need to clearly state their positions on the issues. This would help the voters distinguish between the candidates and choose the person with whom they most closely agree. I would love the opportunity to host a debate myself. I guarantee the voters would get what they want and not come away scratching their heads more confused after the 'debate' than before.
