Why are we mixing church with state? Justice needs to be served. If you kill someone, you deserve to be killed in the EXACT same way you killed that individual. Sure you can let them rot in prison but then we'll be paying for them to rot. Sure you can give them lethal injection but then then don't have to suffer the way their victim(s) did. A person obviously knows the consequences for such actions, so they are just asking for it.

I believe in an eye for an eye. But there are times that I think death is just an easy way out for some of them. They will get what is coming to them one way or another, but for now.....it's up to someone higher.

There's always that possibility that the man or woman on Death Row is innocent. Killing them and then finding out there was an error or mistake is unforgivable. Can't bring them back so cage them up and let them rot. At least if you find out they are innocent you can free them.

I would rather have 6 walking a criminal out rather than 1 attorney give a snow-job to 12 idiots, because they throw out those that have any brains. Who cares what color the criminal is, it doesn't have anything to do with it. If you do the crime, be prepared to pay the price, whatever it is.

The Right Answer!!!

My point to judged by 12 than carried by 6 is how I feel about shooting a criminal I would rather be judged by twelve for killing them than carried by six for not and dying.

Melanie: You'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6,THANK YOU! My point exactly!!! See now you get it...no need to shoot to kill every chance they get. Shoot to injur, book them ,and let the 12 do the thinking. You almost sounded as if you agreed(laughing).

Bit of info for you whitie( you know who I am talking about) Rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Remember that is my opinion.

Who needs a death penalty when you live in the Metro? We have the LMPD as our death penalty. Just ask all the black men getting gunned down. Yeah whitey gets caught breaking the law,but he gets booked not a coffin.

I beleive in a eye for a eye. We should have weekend hangings. The crime rate would go down and it would not cost the tax payers $65,00 dollars a year to keep them in jail. This would also help the people that need it.
