Would you support or oppose an amendment that defines marriage as between one man and one woman in Indiana?

I'm not a bigot. My ability to think and love clearly isn't hindered by religion. No one can define religion, not when opponents fail to live through their own marriages correctly.

Marriage is for one man and one woman. The same sex so called marriage should be voted against. This is part of the problem we have today.

Sincerely,Linda

Marriage should be defined as the union of a man and woman under God.

You can give the same or similiar rights to Gays under government law, but it does not have to be called Marriage. I believe the term "Union" will work.

If you believe in God, then you understand homosexual lifestyle is a sin, thus, you would not pursue Marriage with the same sex under God.

Your born that way? Yea, I am born to have sex with every woman in Indy. But I don't, because under God, that is a sin. Thus, I am married and love only one person, my wife.

Just My Opinion

From the beginning of time men married women and that homosexualilty was an abomination in the eyes of God. If gays and lesbians want to choose to live that life style then thats thier choice but its not a marriage. We live in a democratic society and I feel the majority will contiue to hold to their values than the minority. We have as a society have let too many minority groups try to change the morales of this great land .

GOD Bless

So whats the big deal ! Who cares ! Straight people have already made a joke out of marriage with over 60 percent of marriages ending in divorce . You people want gay people to act respectively & live like you do , but you don't want to give them a chance to validate there love & commitment to each other by letting them do it leagally . So just let your ignorance & hatred hold us back like you always have & let the rest of the world look at us like the hayseeds you are !!!

I suppose the five year old boy performing oral sex on another five year old boy was born this way. Appears to me another homosexual isnt happy and wants company.

An article in CNN news recently showed two men who adopted a boy and girl. Why are normal parents Men and Women adopting abroad. American mom and dads should have preference over homosexuals, the children the homosexuals had were American. Homosexuals that play house should not be allowed to have young children around them.

I personally don't support or oppose this. I don't really think that a marriage should be allowed but I do beleive that a person should be allowed to be with the person they love and that makes them happy. Everyone should be allowed to be happy and be with the person they love reguardless what their sexual partner might be. As long as they keep it to their self and not try pushing it off on those of us who want the man and woman relationship, than leave them along and let them be happy. Smile

Obviously you are wishy washy, wake up - these people want more than just marriage. They have a hate crime bill - the sentence for a hate crime is more than a non hate crime. They can adopt children - these people should not even be allowed near children. So you pass a law that allows them to marry, what next?

This is all I have to say and it doesn't seem to be said from anyone I've heard. Maybe its wrong, maybe not. I am a Christian, therefore anything homosexual is wrong. BUT...I will not PUSH my beliefs on anyone else. I have no problem with gay marriage, I'm just really tired of people telling me THEIR interpretation of the bible. Leave my bible alone, do what you want in your life. Peace creates peace.

Respectfully.
