Hey wanted to add something. To the little coward to whom this post is about I just thought you should know that my wedding was postponed until further notice because my best man was just extended over in Iraq. He is NAVY. Thats right we are all chipping in because the army is a little short handed. I wonder if that would be because of little skirt wearing sissies like you are to scared to get your pretty little hands dirty. Thats ok though, the Men an Women of this country got it. Just stay here in fear and do your makeup pretty boy. Wow theres something to think about. WOMEN over there doing a job you are to scared to do. There goes your claim to manliness.

Does anyone know where this Individual is this Christmas. If he is spreading his Vomit anywhere I want to stand out side with my sign that says Traitor Inside.

First, I'm grateful for all who served in our armed forces. That said, what Watada did is wrong and shameful and an afront to all who serve or have served. What was he thinking when he voluteered? That he was was going to have a cushy job sitting on a beach sipping tropical drinks while enjoying all the government benefits that military personnel rightfully deserves? Common sense tells you that you will be called to defend your country one day. That's why they issue you a weapon. I'm glad he's an exception and not the rule. Next thing you know, he'll want the military to unionize so they can grieve and contest their orders before being shipped out. He should do everyone a favor and leave the military to be a poster boy for the anti-war kumbaya crowd.

Pioletsean: Great post cyber man hug. Thank both you and me for our service. The problem with calling this individual a little girl is that its a gross insullt to little girls. There are many brave little girls. Many wait for their fathers/mothers to return from Iraq/Afgan, Sea Deployment, or other. Some wait in strange lands as their fathers/mothers are stationed in Germany/Korea/Japan, and the Unit or parts of the Unit are TDY to Iraq/Afgan. They pull the Unit back just a short time before they would have to give them credit for a tour of duty. So you get your long tour but your TDY.Also Rotation dates and even ETS are not honored. However I did, you are doing and they did what they have to do. Doing the math losely his Unit either should be back at Ft.Lewis, or be back shortly. I call him this Indiviadual. I will sign wave outside where and when ever he is speaking inside that a Traitor is inside. He has again slipped through the cracks and they are not going to deal with him till Oct. If you saw the picture of his smug self coming out of Court he thinks he is going to walk. I am not sure what the problem is except lack of will on the Goverments part. To confict on the Failure to deploy charge you just need the person that gave the order ro deploy and any witnesses. All you should need is a copy of the written orders. You either went or not. If you did not you missed deployment. Simple as that. As for the other charges wittness will more then do.

Armyof9- Please do not confuse this cowards crime with your soldier and the stupidity of the US Government. First, My sympathy to you and your soldier. Under no circumstances should he go to Iraq. Three weeks from retirement and medical conditions makes him not the sensible choice. Of course the government has been accused of alot of things, common sense was never one of them. I have served going on 14 years now and have been in several conflicts. As a leader, the actions of this Army wanna be officer are inexusable. I say wanna be because these actions are not those of a true officer in our armed forces. When you earn your commission or enlist, you take an oath to defend our nation against all enemies foriegn and domestic and to obey the orders of those appointed over you. There is more to wearing that uniform than a photo opportunity. It requires action! Sometimes the action requires us to make descisions we dont like or under circumstances we wish were different. And for those with sons going off to war those young boys depend on the courage and committment of his leaders to keep him alive. If an officer refuses to play on the team, then he is not only a terrible soldier, but a questionable American. To the wanna be soldier- you are a disgrace and a coward. The sight of you makes me want to vomit. The sight of our nations finest being brought home in caskets while you duck and cover to save your ass makes me feel sick and I am embarassed for your parents. They raised a coward with no honor! You also bring shame to the people of Hawaii. You dont deserve to be called a man so from now on I will refer to you as a little girl. So sorry the big bad war scared you little girl. Here... since the taxpayers already payed for your schooling why dont we just add a giant lolli pop to the package. Go Suck on it and live with your shame. Should your little girly guilt get the best of you, suck start the skinny end of a gun....you wont be missed!

On the 4th of July I fear that their going to sweep this Individuals Issue Under The Rug, and let him quietly go with a discharge. If they do do (no pun intended),this I am not even sure at this time that there will be much of a back lash.I am sure VETs will feel anger and shame, but the way the wars going and the storys I read about what they are not doing to deserters, I am not sure they have the will or desire to put this individual down and down hard. It is not so much the failure to deploy issue. It is the issue of a Officer telling enlisted troops to throw down their arms. Like its not so much Jane went to NVM or that she sat on the tank, she was a dope and a dupe but when she handed the POW Notes slipped to her, over to the Camp C.O. That she crossed the line. Although Sitting On The Tank was pretty tackey.

Armyof9: As a 40% disabled Vietnam Vet, Progressing, Diabetes, and ED, Hearing, Sight, as well as Bipolar, and PTSD. You?re crying and whining makes me sick. What I understand is that your husband is going to retire in a few months and every month there after for the rest of his life and yours a check will arrive in your mail box or your bank account. If you are truly worried max your insurance. This check will arrive unless the forces your husband has signed up to defend us against win and in the end this great nation is defeated and the Government Falls. If that happens flee (I am not sure to where) because you are the first they are coming after. They will not have to come after me, because I will go and meet them and take as many of them out as possible before I go. I hate Communist and I hate anyone that would force a faith or belief system on me. I also do not like people who believe that their faith allows them to beat and repress, fail to educate or clip women. They need to wash their night shirts and use some soap. Now I go to TAMC at least every other week to see my MSW and pick up meds etc, etc. I am grateful to the VA for everything they have done for me. They have helped me in many ways and continue to do so. Because of the VA, I have been able to achieve many goals. To include a College Degree (2 year), help with Glasses, Hearing Aids, Meds and help for the ED to include advanced procedures for the colon. I have not been able to win the PTSD issue. I served 8 years from age 18 to 26. 3 years in Germany and 1 in Vietnam. I was Discharged an E5 with 3 years in grade. I worked in supply, arms and did other rear jobs. I am a REMF and proud of it. Someone had to do those jobs why not me. I understand that 18 No Job Skills and 20 years on the line equal 38 and No Job Skills, (Except leadership and thank you for your service).Except perhaps being a Guard of some kind; however he has the GI Bill and can get an education at last. When I go to TAMC, I see Vets, Old Vets, Younger Vets, Brave Vets, Humble Vets, and sadly a very few Whining Vets. I see very sick Vets. Mostly I see Vets being cared for. Your Husband, who is in good enough health to make 9 keiki, will be taken care of. If he is as sick as you say, I am surprised he was allowed to reenlist and get his 20. So maybe it?s your projection of him. It takes a good man to do 20. Instead of crying for him, be supportive of him. While he is gone get ready for keiki #10.

I think if the soldier dosent want to go he should not have to, there are so many people out there that do want to go. My soldier is 3 weeks from his retirement and they are making him go to iraq. He not only retiring he has a medical condition with his heart and his mental health but they want to send an unstable person in a line were others with be at risk. What is wrong with this picture. They are sending a father of 9 that is unhealthy just because they need to make there deployment numbers. The army dont care about there soldier/ my husband. I hope someone reads this and see what the army is doing to our soldier that have served there time in. Again he has 20 years as of May 28th retires in Octobers, and he is sending us (family) home early return because he thought he was going oto fallow us shortly after sending us home. Now we are all going home with out my huband and a father. Someone please here my cry.

Then you support Treason! Not the failure to deploy act, but the acts that followed, such as going to the rally and telling the Troops to throw down their arms.
