Rep. Ed Case announced his decision to run against Sen. Daniel Akaka for the U.S. Senate.

Who would you support? Some are angry about Case's decision. Do you disagree with it?

It is almost over. Akaka continues to run against George Bush. At the end of the day even if the House is lost. We will still have the Senate, and George Bush will still be President. Plus he will be Veto Proof. All Hawaii will be is a small state in the middle of the sea who's people sent a bunch of lame and old Dems and Hirono to Washington to continue to be less or totally with out effect. The only saving grace we have for at least the next two years is Linda Lingle. Have you noticed all the nice pictures of her that the Dems have put on TV with George Bush, wh is the President of The United States. He approves the Bills and Laws that the others pass. He can also do this thing called Exec Order. I am looking forward to the next two years. Perhaps a couple more Supreme Court Apointments. With the Hope Roe v Wade will finally be reversed and strictly enforced Abortion Laws put in place. Of course with all the funding needed to support real options. I have been to Tripler several times recently and lots of babys are being made between deployments. Lots of young couples walking hand in hand getting along just fine.

Dear Sen Akaka are you still proud that you delivered Hawaii to John Kerry in 2004. Please note how he is not the President. George Bush is President. Linda Lingle is the Gov. She and George Bush are friends. Lingle and Bush are friends. Bush is President. Kerry is a has been on his way to no body. Lame duck or not Bush will be around for two more years. Lingle for 4 more years. Because of Lingle and Bush Hawaii gets stuff. Not because of you. Lingle as Gov had to ask Bush for aid. Not you, or In-No-Way or Crumbie. You guys get crumbs off Bushes Table. Lingle get Substance and Hawaii gets aid. Real Aid.

Sen Akaka like to mention in his ads that Hawaii delivered the vote for John (flip flop)Kerry. He takes pride in that. However does he realize that Kerry is not president and George Bush is. Akaka and In-no-way both voted against a bill that would have make it against federal law to perform and Abortion on a minor child or to take a minor child across state lines to obtain an abortion without the parents consent. Do you want to find out your Grandchild has been murdered after the fact. Or that your minor keiki had a medical procedure performed on them with out your consent. Think Not!!! and if you think so please get help.

Sence Hirono and Hogue are not a topic but both are running for Ed Cases old seat. I guess this goes best here. Last Saturday Evening I just like the rest of Hawaii was glued to my TV Set listening to the Hirono vs Hogue debate. I do not like Bob Hogue much. He waers his lay like a rope around his neck. I know he is educated enough to know better. He is also very consending and talks to us like we are little keiki, and he is the wise white man. However as much as I might not like Bob Hogue I will Vote for him because I believe his heart is in the right place. I detest Mazie Hirono, during the debate she mentioned Choice (Abortion the murder of unborn keiki) not once but three times. Yet in her staged photo ops she claims to love education and the keiki. How can you love people you are willing to have murdered ?!!!She also seems to be running against George Bush not Bob Hogue. If you go to www.dontvote.com it will link you to her web site. She is married but has kept her own name and you never here about him. Also she belongs to an very left womens lib group. Which is also in favor of advancing the murder of the unborn.I am told that 80 percent of the politcos here feel safe in being pro choice. That just makes 80 percent 100 percent wrong. It may be for the time being legal but it is not alright to murder human beings just because they are not yet born and the law says you can. Also she is against the War. The War has freed millions of people. Who now have more freedoms and one day might have the freedom of religion as well as freedom from it. If you vote for Hirono then you vote for the Murder Of The Unborn.....

With the elections just around the corner, I want to wish both Dan & Ed, The best of luck. I hope in the near future both will look into the possibilies of building more senior citizen homes, possibly on Hawn. Home Lands. I think it is time to really pay back our "KUPUNA'S". SO MUCH for the other stuffs. Please think about the other Islands, seriously! GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS

BEST OF LUCK!

The countdown is on the way... just a few days away until the final week before the primary. I wonder what kind of absolute nonsensical mud will be slung toward Representative Ed Case? If no crazy absurdities are slung toward him from the old school dems I will be pleasantly surprised. Such is the time-tested nature of traditional politics here in Hawaii during heated races. Sad but true... some locals claim aloha on the outside, but are utterly hauna on the inside.

SENATOR AKAKA IS A GREAT LEADER WHO HAS DEDICATED 30 YEARS OF HIS LIFE TO THE PEOPLE. ED CASE CANNOT DO THE THINGS THAT AKAKA CAN. AKAKA HAS GAINED 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. CASE HAS ONLY BEEN IN OFFICE FOR 4 TO SIX YEARS. HE SAYS IT IS NOT ABOUT AGE. THEN WHY DIDNT HE PICK SENATOR INOUYE? SENATOR INOUYE IS YOUNGER THAN AKAKA. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE HOW SOMEONE CAN SAY IT IS NOT ABOUT AGE BUT THEN CONTINUES TO SPEAK ABOUT TRANSITION. HAWAIIANS OUT THERE-SENATOR AKAKA IS RIGHT TO SPEAK UP AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT FOR THEIR WRONGDOING IN 1898 AND 1900. HE SUBMITTED THE AKAKA BILL IN AN ATTEMPT TO GIVE HAWAIIANS A RIGHT TO GEOVERN OVER THEMSELVES. eD CASE WONT DO THAT. I URGE EVERYONE TO VOTE FOR A TRUE HAWAIIAN MAN WHOM IS DANIEL AKAKA!

Well yeah, Ed Case is indeed a 'talented strategist'. To get his cousin Steve Case, former chairman of Time Warner and still a mighty shareholder in Time Magazine, to get a story run in the latter that called Akaka a lousy senator, just in time for the election; yeah I should think that took some planning. But not the kind I want my senator to be doing.

The Democratic Primary competition between Representative Ed Case and Senator Dan Akaka is about Dan Inouye. Senator Inouye will eventually leave office either a retiring senior senator or unexpectedly through his death. Either way, Hawai?i ultimately loses if we are placing our future without Dan Inouye in the hands of Dan Akaka. In six years of work Dan Akaka could not get the Hawai?ian Sovereignty bill through the senate. I was incredulous when I heard an interview with him stating that he was surprised at the number of positive votes the bill received. What senator puts a bill before the senate for a vote who doesn?t already know the vote count before it?s even begun? Ed Case is a talented strategist who would know the score before a vote. Senator Inouye holds the #3 spot on the list of ?Pig Book ?Oinkers? of 2006? with $482,000,000 brought home for Hawai?i. Dan Akaka is nowhere on the radar of Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW). While I oppose government waste, as does Ed Case, I also recognize that one person?s ?pork? is another person?s ?bacon.? It?s difficult to find much evidence Dan Akaka has made any significant financial difference for Hawai?i. By voting in the primary to select Ed Case as the Democratic contender and ultimately electing him to the senate Ed can begin establishing the senate seniority essential to insuring that upon Dan Inouye?s departure Hawai'i does not slip into legislative and financial obscurity in the senate. Ed?s integrity and ethics will prevent him from achieving the status of Senator Inouye when it comes to raw, financial ?Pork?, but Ed?s intelligence, experience, strong sense of purpose, negotiation skills, and affability will surely win him support in the senate for moving ahead his legislative agenda for our state. Ed Case will not founder in obscurity like Dan Akaka. Ed represents the optimum choice for Hawai?i when it comes to assuring the overall long-term best interests of our state

Very respectfully! Ewa Beach Resident
