Was and still is complete shock that this could even happen. The next morning was a shocker for me looking at the front page of the paper displaying people holding hands and jumping from the tower windows.

My uncle had a friend who worked in the first building that had been hit. Luckly, my uncle had offered him two tickets to go to Spain. He went that day of the disaster and he was not there when it happened. The plane crashed right into his floor. I call it "Gods Will" Like the Martina McBride song!

Shock surreal. I watched the realtime replay of the events of 9/11/2001 on the 5th anniversary of the original attacks. It was more disturbing watching and knowing what was going to occur. We will never be able to let our guard down or take our security for granted again. Too many lives were lost on that fateful day.

Anger and more anger. Then a sadness for the tragic loss of life. You should never take your life for granted, you just never know how it might end.
