My next life, I want to come back as a weather forcaster. It's the only job where you can be wrong a lot of the time and still get paid. It's 11:00 am Sunday and the humidity is 78%. I thought Sunday was going to have low humidity!

Thanks, For being so accurate with today?s (10/3) forecast. We canceled a major fundraising yard sale/car wash for 2 youth softball teams, because the same cloudy rainy forecast for today was given all week until I saw the 5 pm news on Friday. As I look out the window right now at the Sunshine and Carolina blue sky without a cloud in it I wonder how much these kids could have made today to support their softball ambitions. We understand that you can?t control the weather; However, you and your staff could have made an effort to keep us updated instead of posting the same 40% chance of rain on Saturday all week on the website and weather segments.

We trusted you.

We want to say thank you to Lanie Pope for letting us know about the shuttle and space station passing over the Triad. My wife and I and a neighbor watched at about 9:32 p.m. What a spectacular sight. Do you happen to know how far the two were from each other and at what altitude? Thank you again for that information.

Lanie, I live about four miles east of Mocksville on Hwy 158.

You used to have regular temp reports form Mocksville, but now you are reporting temps from a fictional town of Sheffield.

There is a Sheffield Road west of Mockaville, but there is no town named Sheffield around here anywhere.

Is this where you are getting temp reports from? If so you should say it is from the Sheffield Community area.

It was 60 degrees tonight before New Years, then as the storm approached here in Winston, it went from 60 to 65 degrees. Why is that? It gets warmer because of the winds in the storm?
