Did anyone else feel anything last night? I was outside around 10:35 pm and heard the first one. Then several more about 15 to 20 minutes apart after that. This was in the Davidson County, Clemmons Area.//marie

I felt a couple of small quakes last Sat. at Hanes Mall. Obviously too small to register as I have heard no news of it.

I felt another quake on 11/11/06 at exactly 8am. My husband and I both sat straight up in bed, looked at each other and said "another earthquake". My dog also went crazy barking and growling. We didn't hear much about it so we thought maybe it wasn't. But it's nice to know someone else heard and felt it!

Did anyone feel another one on Saturday 11/11 at around 8am??? Not quite as big as many we have had, but significant enough to shake me up.

I was at work and waiting on my daugther outside of the building. I was on the phone with her and I screamed and she thought I had fallen. When I got steady on my feet again, I told her about what has happened. It was a loud sound then the sidewalk was moving under my feet. If it had been any worse it would have knocked me down. I work at the Kimel Park area.

My mother and I were shopping at SteinMart and we felt a shake. We really didn't think anything of it, until we heard later that it was a quake. But it lasted maybe for a second.

I was standing in my kitchen at approximately 10:50 this morning and felt and heard the earthquake. It shook my house really hard for probably two seconds. If it had lasted any length of time, I wouldn't have been able to stand up through it, so I'm glad it was a short one. It really scared my 2-year-old daughter. She ran to me and clung to my legs and cried.

jf5977,

They had to check a few reports of damage at the hospital (I work for Novant and we got a fax from them) and a few breakers tripped at my workplace (right off Strattford).

I work off Strattford Road. This was the first time that I actually felt the ground really shake (the previous ones always felt like a "jolt"Wink. It also wasn't one loud "boom". Todays was more of a loud rumble.
