Arkansas track and cross country coach John McDonnell is expected to announce his retirement at a press conference Monday afternoon. McDonnell's teams have amassed a record 42 NCAA national championships during his tenure as head coach.

Coach McDonnell is the greatest coach Arkansas has ever had in ANY sport! I know some of the other "big" sports get more attention and that is a shame. No other coach in any college has as many national championships! He record speak for itself! Good luck coach in whatever you decide to do. Arkansas will miss you. God bless.

DIDN'T KNOW JOHN BUT I WOULD LIKE TO THANK HIM FOR BEING OUR TRACK COACH FOR MANY YEARS. COACHES DON'T LAST AS LONG AS JOHN DID, TELL YOU ALOT ABOUT HIM.
