I was so saddened when I heard the news of Sgt. LeBow's death. I had met Rick through his sister, Ronci, but didn't know him well. Ronci was so proud of her brother. I know that he was an honored and well respected officer and he will be missed. Ronci, Nadine, Kathy & boys, you are in my thoughts in prayers during this difficult time. With sympathy, Tahmra (Grame) Reeves

I grew up in Oklahoma and my father had a service station so I grew up with state police officer's as some of my best friend's so I had a chance to know and understand what their job was like. I moved to Ozark 6 years ago and started a towing service and met Rick and all of the officer's under his watch. Rick was always smiling and friendly! And He took his job to heart and cared very much about the people he met every day. we loved Rick And I will miss his friendship. But I new Rick was a Christian and The lord had Rick with him and that keep me going the day of the accident. I know how much Rick loved his family he talked about you always at our shop. And I am so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you Cathy. And we will always be here If you or the boy's need a friend god bless Ken & Lori Pence Ken,s Towing

KINDEST REGARDS, KEN PENCE

In Memory of my brother, Sgt. Richard C. LeBow June 4th, 1956 - February 4, 2008

For Kathy, Charles & Caleb...he loved you sooo much.

"Flying with the Angels"

"He's flying with the angels, that beautiful Rick of ours He was given his golden wings, in morning's quiet hours He took his last earthly breath, then began his heavenly flight He has a shining halo, placed on him quietly in his flight

Now he's flying with the angels, up in heaven's sky & he sends down his love, his kiss on earth's goodbye With peace laying in his heart, he's with God above & he's wrapped in his wings, in God's arms, in His love

He's lighting up the heavens, with that dazz- ling yet quiet smile But the distance between us, is less than a mile In tender quiet moments, with the flutter of his wings We will know that he is with us, his song to us, so sing

He hold's Kathy's heart, in his gentle quiet loving hands Protecting their eternal love, a blessed un- broken band His boys, his mother, & his sister's love, are folded in his wings As he lovingly carries their hearts, heaven's bells shall ring

Now he's flying with the angels, up in heaven's sky And he sends down his love, his kiss on earth's goodbye With peace laying in his heart, he's with God above & he's wrapped in his wings, in his heavenly Father's blessed love.

Your Sister.....I love you

Rick was a wonderful big brother...someone I always looked up to. He protected me from the neighborhood bullies growing up, as he protected all of us in his career as an Arkansas State Police officer.

To all law enforcement officers, God bless you & yours and the work that you do for our safety. Ty.

Your Sister...my love

Kathy, Charles & Caleb: We cannot begin to have words that make sense right now, just know that God will watch over Richard. Only briefly did the Springdale Scorpions know Richard and we were excited about the new season with Caleb on our team. We can only pray that this works out for the family and you will always a Scorpion. May your dad rest in peace.

Your friends in Springdale

Kathy, Charles and Caleb: Rick was a great example to our community and our church. He not only loved his family but most of all our Lord. His life was such a witness for the Lord and we will miss him greatly. Just know that we will be praying for you in the days ahead and that your church family will be there for you. May God keep His arms around you and that you may feel His love.

In our prayers, The Patton Family

When I was 14-years old, my entire family was involved in a head-on collision on Hwy 23 in northern Franklin County. My father was killed. My mother suffered a severe head injury. My sisters and brother were injured. I stayed home alone that night. I had fallen asleep. I was awakened by knocking on the front door, which we never used, so I knew something was wrong. Trooper LeBow and one of my father's co-workers came inside. LeBow explained that there had been an accident. He said my mother was badly hurt and that my siblings were injured but would be ok. I noticed he hadn't mentioned my father. LeBow then told me my father didn't make it, that he had died. I felt the blood drain from by body. In shock, I fell forward into Trooper LeBow and clutched his huge Arkansas State Police jacket and cried or screamed or something. I can't really remember. What I do remember is that LeBow was very compassionate. I could tell he was upset too. Since this was 1982, he must have been a very young trooper, and was maybe working the worst wreck he'd ever seen. Once I was able, I got into Trooper LeBow's cruiser for the 20-minute ride to the hospital. I was still in shock I'm sure, but remember asking a lot of questions. LeBow continued to be comforting and positive about how much my brother and sisters would need my support. I'll never forget his kind words and caring on the worst night of my life. As the years went on, I got to know Rick well. I had friends who worked for the Franklin County, Arkansas Sheriff's Department and often rode with them on duty. We'd see Rick often. I always felt a special bond with him, and I think he felt the same way. Rick LeBow touched my life in a profound way. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of growing up with Rick. He was 3 years older than me. That didn't matter he was a great guy. He was always good to me. He had an old cub 50 honda when we were kids. I don't remember it running much but he sat on that motorcycle alot. We talked. The house next to him was on the corner of a busy street. In the summer we would hide behind a privacy fence and through pop bottle rockets at cars as they went. In the winter it would be snow balls. I remember us getting chased a few times!! He was really a great guy that I will never forget. I knew he would be a great dad years ago. He had a heart of gold! I haven't seen him in many years. But I will never forget him!! I feel for you the family! I hope you do well. I know it will be hard but at least you know he was a good man. Nathan McAlister
