What do you think of the possibility of a NASCAR track being built in our area? Do you think our area could support the track? Would you go to watch races there?

That would be great. It would have to be out in the boonies because of NOISE. The Churches won't allow alcohol, etc, etc. GOOD LUCK.

Why should we have a Nascar track? All the dirt tracks are closing in this area. The one in Fayetteville closed because it was too noisy. The dirt is where most of those guys started and that style of racing is slowly fading away. You think Thundervalley was loud you ain't herd nothing yet. You'll be able to hear it clear down in West Fork. I'm all about racing of anykind. I just feel that we should support local tracks just as much as the Nascar.

This area needs something like Nascar,DRAGRACING,theme park...ect...There is so many people with no where "local" to go with their families besides College sports (not for everyone). It would be a very WELCOME attraction!

Another good argument for voting out the Dry County ordinance. If you add up the property taxes on the real estate, the additional personal property taxes businesses pay on their equipment, and the sales taxes generated by the events, all of which stays right here in Benton County, this one deal alone is costing us hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax revenue that could go to improving the schools and roads of Benton County. But instead we will give that money to Oklahoma so we don't have to see beer for sale at WalMart.

I think having NASCAR here would be GREAT. I would love to see one close so I could go to a race. It would be a good income for the communite where ever they put it.

I think it is a wonderful idea. Why not use some of the Fort Chaffee land to build the track and literally put it in our backyard?

Boogity, boogity, boogity! Let's go racin', boys!!! I think a track in the area would be an awesome added feature to the community. We definitely have the fan base in the area and surrounding states to support it.

NASCAR would be a plus for the economy along with many, many other aspects!!! I'd prefer a larger track though... 1 mile+...although anything would be awesome. Is there a place to volunteer my abilities and time? Who could we call? Season tickets? Ohhh, I am so excited about the possibilities....
