This spring storm is one we all will remember and will likely go down in the records books.

How has it affected you? Are you enjoying it or do you hate it? How much snow did you get? Please share your snow story.

I remember that day as IFit was only two years ago (ha ha, I'm just kidding around)

Seriously, that morning after my kids went to school, I was putting away clothes, crying the whole time and I saw a blue jay flying around and landing on a tree limb outside. I watched it for awhile and it flew off, I had stopped bawling by then and thanked it for the beautiful site.

I decided to make a bank run, did that, went and bought bags for my vaccum cleaner and then I took myself to Micky D's for Shamrock shakes for everybody. I went home.

A few hours later, my then youngest, came home from Pre School as she got off the bus, she told me that it was going to snow. I told her that it wasn't cold enough to snow, as it had been trying to rain most of that morning. Yet she instisted it would (snow).

Around 3PM I went and picked up another child from school, she told me also that it was going to snow, because "My teacher said so" I wondered if her teacher was the weather gal from another Tv station. Whatever.

Later on around 8 that night, I heard the wind picking up while I was trying to sleep, I rolled over and slept, I woke up around 6 AM that day and said to myself, "Well I'll be , everybody was right, YaY, I also bet that there isn't any school as the snow was still coming down. In my town the school was closed ALL that week. I didn't mind as I remember back from 1997 that there was an October blizzard or somthing such as that.

I remember people trying to snow blow driveways and shovel themselves out. I hard a hard time getting around in my car WITHOUT 4 Wheel drive, but I took it SO slow, I didn't get stuck or in an accident.

I think we need some snow like that again.

I hate it. My back is aching from all the shovelling. I have several thousand dollars worth of damage from tree limbs that have hit my house. My favorite pine tree (about 35 feet tall) has snapped at the base in my back yard. The mast and meter for my power is lying down in the back yard. Water is leaking into my garage. My husband's newly restored office building at 5th & Lincoln has 10s of thousands of $s damage- & now shut down indefinitely. Water had been pouring in the back door as the alley was flooded and doing still more damage. In short - this thing has cost us a bundle!

Talked to a friend of mine in Morrison this afternoon. They had to dig themselves out because one company that owns front end loaders in that area told her on the ph. that he would charge her $150.00 an hour to dig them out, and when they called again the man told her it was now $400.00 an hour and was she willing to pay that? Her Grandmother is dying in La. and they are headed out, and didn't have the time to deal with this problem. Meanness is alive and well during this time of need.

I wanted to say that I was appalled when I heard the reports of concessioners at DIA were charging the stranded people at DIA full price for food instead of serving free of charge or at least at a great discount due to the circumstances. I want to praise the restaurant that served all the stranded people free of charge up in Eldora. Great job and thank you for being so giving!

Okay, I'm thinking that I would like for it to start melting, slowly, not too fast, all at once, just please start melting some, so we can get out by tomorrow.

I haven't seen snow like this here in Winter Park, since 92 & even that was not quite as much as this. It is incredible. Parked vehicles have completely disappeared! Trails are about waist deep in snow. Mary Jane ski area has closed completely due to avalanches & Winter Park has only 2 to 3 lifts open at any one time! Apparently there is too much snow to ski...who'd have thought it! Most of the businesses are closed & Fraser is without power. Surprising that Winter Park still does have power! This is crazy, crazy stuff...but well needed & much better than the consequences without! Hopefully we will have a great, smoke free (-er) summer. I think the flakes are getting bigger here now! Hope the folks stuck at DIA & on I-70 are okay!

With the much needed snow in the metro area.... we are thankful, but have spent the morning... shoveling our deck of our apartment which has accumilated over 4 feet of drifted snow.... now we understand why this apartment was vacant for so long... Much thanks to my husband who has spent the majority of yesterday keeping up with the shoveling to wake up this morning to the 4 feet.

I work in Yellowstone National Park and this past winter we never got this much snow in a single storm!! I love it...now if I only had my cross-country skis. My best guess is there's about 3 feet here in southwest Littleton...enough I can walk out one of my 1st story windows.

I loved the snow and we much needed it, but i am in a wheelchair and i can't believe how much snow i have in my back yard and in front of my apartment. I probably will be stuck at home until thursday late afternoon or friday. I have been shoveling a small path to my dish, but my shovel broke and now i don't have tv because of the amount of snow on the dish. I have so much snow in my back yard that i can't see the furniture or my hottub. I wish i had my camera here to send a picture. Anyway, looks beautiful outside, but i am looking forward to see the sun tomorrow.
