Referendum N would remove obsolete provisions that address the sale, distribution, manufacture and purity of alcoholic beverages in Colorado.

Supporters said this will not affect the ability of the Legislature to regulate alcoholic beverages within Colorado.

Opponents said all provisions of the constitution have historical values and removing them may diminish the historical character of the constitution.
