Referendum M would remove language that is outdated and obsolete in provisions regarding land value increase.

Supporters said this will remove a tax exemption that is not currently used in the valuation of property, and a tax exemption for planting trees on private land is not likely.

Opponents said removing the measure could limit the power of the state legislature to provide a tax exemption for planting trees on private land.

How will you vote on this Amendment?
