Lionelo, you hit it right on the head with Sonny. It's sad no doubt, but he wasn't winning the games he needed to, and he was losing out to HawkLove in recruiting. You're right, no one is going to come to games just to see Sonny on the sidelines - not gonna happen, especially with the fans at CSU. He absolutely should have written his own ticket, but Pauly K saw it otherwise. Too bad. Fort Collins won't be the same without him, especially on campus.

Hey Lionel, Great coverage of the Broncos. I am really excited for this season to start. Fall is my favorite time of year because the Broncos get rolling the Rockies are wrapping up then the Colorado Eagles and Avalance head back to the ice. Thanks for keeping us informed. Later, D~

New Post: The TV news headline said "Girls at Indy." The internet headline said "Women at Indianapolis." The women qualified to race at Indianapolis. I'm sure they are all under 18 years of age. Don't demean their skills by referring to them as "girls."

The Eagles are now in the finals for the President's Cup. They took out the Memphis Riverkings in game 6 last night. THings got really hopping off the penalty shot by Ryan Tobler in the second then the Eagles came alive! What a game! The Eagles beat them 6 to 3 and the Subway deal still holding true, free subs today for everyone in attendance. Thanks for bring our little corner of the world to life with scores and highlights. It is much appreciated. The next series starts Friday night at the Bud Barn so if you here some loud roaring coming from Norther Colorado it is the Eagles taking the ICE! Thanks Lionel.

You ROCK LB! Thanks for the Awesome game highlights. Game 7 was the loudest I have ever heard the BEC. Frazer was amazing. It is unreal when you have 5 different guys score. It was very exciting. So now it is on to meet up with the Memphis Riverkings. Games one and two are at the Bud Barn Friday night and Sunday. GO Eagles!

Lionel, Thanks for the awesome highlights for the Eagles. It was a great game and I still made it home in time to check out Channel 7 news. Eagles scored 6 goals and that earns everyone in attendence free Subway tomorrow. The prettiest looking goal came in the third when Frazer Filipic knocked a frozen rope past OKC goalie right off the face off. Game 5 is Friday night at the BEC. Thanks again and GO Eagles.

Wow! I can't believe that the Broncos released Al Wilson. Him and Rod Smith are the team leaders. I sure hope that Jay Cutler can step up an be a great team leader. He has some big shoes to fill. (ie; Elway, Wilson. On a Hockey note, the Colorado Eagles play game one in round two of the playoffs. Go Eagles.

Round one is in the history books and the Colorado Eagles won that series 4 games to 2. See you Friday night at the BEC for Round 2 against Oklahoma City Blazers.

GO Eagles! It is Game Four in the first round of the CHL( Centeral Hockey League) and the Colorado Eagles have taken a commanding lead over the Steelhounds, 3 games to none. They play game four tonight in Ohio. So if you ever get up to Loveland stop by the Budweiser Events Center and check them out they are AWESOME!
