A fire that started with burning trash continued to grow in Larimer County, sending some homeowners fleeing in its path.

Discuss your thoughts about this fire. Are you one of those affected? What do you think about our early Colorado fire season? What do you expect for Colorado this summer?

Why would anybody want to burn their trash on a windy day? Everybody knows how dry it is due to lack of moisture. I live in Fort Collins at the base of Horsetooth Mountian, and I see the smoke from that fire all the time. It is getting really huge. At night around here by the base of Horsetooth Mountian, the smoke is so thick it is like a light fog. And the smell is just horrible. One advise to people who want to burn. Make sure you have a permit to burn, and don't burn on a windy day.

Sincerely, Classybtch@yahoo.com
