I believe Marc Menne and John Finnan are being wrongly handled. I know that they are sharing responsibility because someone has to, but they are not the individuals at fault. Bill did this. That is the bottom line! I feel sorry for the families of the Erpenbeck Co's employees who were in trouble. Bill has his hand on them! Lori did not know about this, I cannot account for Michelle, but she is such an innocent girl! It makes me really upset to say the least. Marc and John may be the final casualties, and I only hope the best for them. Gary Erpenbeck is a great guy and knew nothing about Bill's Scheme. I hope they leave some of these people who were totally in the dark alone. It is almost like they need to take everyone down who had any association. Bill if you read this, you know, deep down - remember those walks on the golf course (you couldn't sleep) when creditors were knocking on the doors night and day - you knew what you were doing-just not how to continue carrying off. Shame! I could go on, but what is the point!

Murderers should spend more time in jail but theives like Erpenbeck should not spend less. He destroyed the financial health of hundreds of people, and forever altered their lives in a negative way.

I know that the man did indeed commit a horrible crime. But the punishment, does not fit the crime. It is sad when murder has a less severe punishment than what this man did. What kind of message is the court sending to society???

I think Lagrange, Kentucky correctional institute should be where the time is served. I already hear that 30 years is too high..........I would say life, but then again, he didn't kill no one.

But, he should spend at least 20 years. Why?

He will lose his wife.

His children will lose touch with him.

The prison system will warp his mind.

His own mind will torture him for his mistakes.

People that were close to him will lose contact with him. If there is any left.

He already knows that he is a humiliation to his family, his children, his wife, and the community.

Then he has to worry about not being someone's lover in prison. LMAO!

Every holiday will be spent with some big ruff and tuff dudes in there for who knows what, trying to scratch up cigarrette money for the day.

This is sweet justice for all the poor people who suffered and lost homes in this saga.

To hell with his family, they were not innocent; they lived lavishly, toys, a basement that was unspeakable.

I think I am going to Florida to meet his wife for good times, take some money, and leave. Haaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

O.........but awwwww poor family. Frown

I predict two ways he will go: Suicide or he will find God, and be a holy roller trying to spread the word. Wooooohoooooooooo! God has found me Praise da Lord! Gimme 5 dollars!

Uh o, here we go again...............

"Actions speak louder than words, and the actions in this case says it all."

Bill deserves a bunch of jail time, but how does one explain the following headline of today? A Colerain Township man who murdered his mother and then hid her body in a cistern was sentenced Thursday. Frederick Engelhardt will spend the next seven years in prison, WLWT Eyewitness News 5 reported

In my opinion 30 years is too much time to spend in prison. Murderers don't even spend that much time in jail. I believe what he did was wrong and that he should pay restitution but this sentence is revenge not justice. It is a sad situation and I believe the sentencing was clouded by the media's constant fascination with the scandal. By today's paper I see that the Ky Post is rearing and ready to sink its teeth into Finnan and Menne (they are the next target). Watch out.

It must be a sad day when one finally realizes that he has used God's most precious gift--the gift of life--for nothing but a short lived quest for power and prestige. Bill, you have been given a gift and an opportunity to repent while learning to live in world where power, prestige and greenbacks have no bearing. I hope you use it wisely.

I think it is a slap in the face of victims to allow him to serve time in flordia why should it be made easy for him. He robbed the victims of everything. Let his wife sell the house which he bought with the victims money and move back here.

How could he not think for a moment that this would not catch up with him? I feel very bad for his children who lost their Mother to cancer years ago. They are victims in this mess as well.

I don't think there will be too many people who feel that he shouldn't go to jail. The guy is a loser and deserves to go to jail. That's obvious.

I mean people lost their homes, businesses lost money and he brought down a bank!

I just feel bad his kids. Is their anyway they can disown the dad and grandfather? What an embarrassment to have to go through the rest of their lives knowing their dad didn't care about them.

Talk about living without a soul. How can any parent do what he did and NOT think it would eventually catch up with them?

But then again, Bill's father obviously is just as much without soul as he is.

How pathetic.
