Give us your thoughts on the state law that prohibits a person from being charged with a baby's death if the baby never takes a breath outside the womb.

If you take away the word "unborn" from unborn baby, what do you have? A BABY! I believe that the laws should be in place to serve families of unborn babies who are murdered. Just because they are still in their mothers womb, does not make them any less a living human being. My sympathy to the family of this tragedy.

I think that an unborn baby which is developed enough and would have at least a 50/50 chance of survival if delivered at that time, should be considered a life and anyone that takes that life should pay the full consequences.

i feel unborn babys should be treated as a born one. it is unfair to the familys that have suffered this lose. my thoughts & prayers go out to them.if i can help start a law would. we should start a petition in there honor to see if that might help. sincerly,Misty Coffey

I think that if cause a wreak and kills a women and an unborn baby you should be charged for both deaths. An unborn baby is a human person. I think they should pass a law that convicts a person killing a unborn baby.

I believe thier should be a law Leanna was my niece and Chennyve was health and fine till Feb 6,2007 . If it was not for Martinez hitting her she would of been a health baby girl born in a month. So please call anyone u can to help us change this law .Thanks Leeannas aunt

I believe there should be a law to protect unborn babies. Leeanna was my best friend. Losing her alone was hard enough but also losing the baby and not seeing anything be done about it is unheard of. So YES there should be a law!
