On the surface, Lowell Park in Central Bakersfield seems normal.
But this place hides a hideous secret.
It is where 31-year-old Trina Beavers was shot to death early Sunday.
As Beavers drove her car near a group of about 100 people gathered in the park, shots rang out -- a lot of shots. Police told KERO that at least 75 bullets were fired.
Some hit nearby McKinley Elementary School. At least one hit Beavers. She leaves behind three kids.
Who killed her?
Well, there were plenty of witnesses -- remember as many as 100 people at the park when the shooting started. But none of them are talking to the police.
Beavers deserves more than silence.
