KOAT-7 and the Albuquerque Journal will co-host a series of debates between the candidates vying for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd U.S. Congressional seats and for the U.S. Senate position.
Debates are scheduled as follows:
Sunday, Oct. 19, 4-5 p.m. 2nd Congressional District: Ed Tinsley, Harry Teague
Sunday, Oct. 19, 6-7 p.m. 3rd Congressional District: Ben Ray Lujan, Dan East, Carol Miller
Sunday, Oct. 26, 4-5 p.m. 1st Congressional District: Darren White, Martin Heinrich
Sunday, Oct. 26, 6-7 p.m. U.S. Senate: Steve Pearce, Tom Udall

Pierce represents the ultra-right. He's not a real Republican.
Pierce lied repeatedly about Heather Wilson...which means he'd have lied about Domenici if Domenici was running. Wilson and Domenici are both Republicans...
...Pierce works for special interests and mouths what New Yorkers tell him to mouth.

I am aware that KOAT is part of ( ABC, (CBS,NBC Cnn All of the great LIBERAL News Media , Bew none of my comments ever get posted !! Some day some one will shut all of you down,It is happening in South America , Africa, Middle east not to far away !! Have a nice day !!

Steve Olson Some of us do not need your ( Fac chek ) to see Tom's record in congress Its not been good for the common man in New Mexico, Great for Enviromentalist's !! I am also disappointed with Tom Udall's preparation for tonight's debate. Nevertheless, Steve Pearce has proven over and over again that his interests are not necessarily those of his constituency here in New Mexico. He has voted against Veterans and his views on drilling in Otero Mesa are self-serving. Tom Udall needs to get out there and remember that he will be serving more New Mexicans than he did as a Congressman. He needs to actually listen to the voters who are going to be deciding if he will return to the Senate in six years.

I did not get to watch all but the last 15 min of Debate, But noted Udall sounded like a remote controled robot.! I am unfortunately in the 3 districtTom Udall has done a lot for this district = HELPED kill the Logging industry, Mining Industry , Will kill the Cattle Industry if possible !Unfortunately his supporters are used to ( Goberino handouts they see only more FREE GOODIES , Vietman some of us were called ( Baby Killers ! What is Abortion ?, Udall voted 3 maybe 4 times against a proposed amendment to our Constitution to prevent the Desecration of our FLAG , Since he has never served our Country he probably doesen't know what it looks like ! Udall has supported EVERY assault on The 2nd Amendment proposed by his Liberal cohorts, Including Barack Hussain Obama . Tom Udall was born with a gold spoon in his mouth, Never had to actually work !What does he know about the working mans Trials laboring to provide for his own ?? Lets send a man who loves our country,Has served it honorably. Knows what labor is !!Steve Pearce for SENATE. .

I am very disappointed in Tom Udall tonight. He avoided answering the questions and stumbled in his words. Despite Pearce stating his position, Udall was unable to adjust his responses according to what Pearce said. Udall sounded like a tape recorder and could only spout his rehearsed lines. Pearce stated numerous times his stance on the SCHIP program and on the Iraq war, and each time Udall either didn't listen or just stated his rehearsed lines. I hope New Mexicans really took the time to listen to what each candidate said. It is sad how many choose to ignore the truth and only vote along party lines.

Foreign Counties that hold our Treasure Note (T-Notes) do not want to loan us anymore money that is why the market is collapsing and the reason why is we refused to indict 7 people. The countries we are speaking of are: Russia, China, Japan, Signapore, and Saudi Arabia not to exculde several other contries. The names of these 7 people are: Franklin Rains, Jim Johnson, Jamie Gerelic, Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, the #1 beneficiary is Chris Dodd, AND #2 Beneficiary is Barrack Obama.

Senatorial Debate...
First, KOAT did a GREAT job organizing and managing this debate. Congratulations.
Udall has never been as direct or simplistic as Democrats would hope, probably because he's into considering long term results of votes, less into scoring political points with the extreme of that party. I hate listening to him...sounds like Bingaman...but they're both good New Mexicans so I have no trouble with either. Voted for Domenici, of course.
Pierce is a one-note-song type...they put their bosses (Pierce's are in New York) above Country.
Everybody's noticed Pierce was more vicious and deceitful in his attacks on Heather Wilson (the real GOP candidate) than he is on Udall. Weird. Palin.
I'm a Republican, like Wilson or Dominici... Pierce is a Sarah Palin...Pierce and Palin put John Birch above the Constitution...which they both want to rewrite...which Udall pointed to in tonight's debate.

Udall, failed to express himself concernig all the questions asked by the panel. The problems that we are faced with right now were started by Bill Clinton. This is the point that actually made Pierce win the debate. He was also clear on many other issues.
Udall, did not debate well. I think Senate Pierce won the debate. He was clear on the questions. I think he can represent New Mexico better.

Mr. Olson,
Out of resepct I look at the VOTES themselves who voted for what to get the correct answers. I do not believe in looking at MoveOn.org an unapproved site in my eyes. Look at the HB bills and find out again who voted for what and how many times a person has voted on an issue. It is not by he said/she said.
