Why don't restaurants offer reduced size portion plates? Americas overeate, and much of it stems from going to restaurants and feeling they need to eat everything on their plate because they bought it. Many items (such as egg items) are not "doggie bag" items. I would eat out more if the restaurants had reduced size portions (of course with a reduced price). If Americans really want to reduce their physical girth, they should let it be known that they not only want healthier food choices but a choice of smaller portions/lesser price.

I bleive that it is cheeper to make the meal at home. i have a ton of restruant recipies that i make at home that almost always fall under 10.00 to feed a family of 4-8. for example i have figured out the recipie for Chicken alfredo and pasta fijole from olive garden to feed a family of 8 for under 20.00.
