Both of you are strong supporters of the current administration. Both of you are also veterans so I think it is appropriate to ask if you share Senator McCain's and President Bush's views on Senator Webb's GI Bill Reform. Will you vote against it like Senator McCain? Do you support the President's Veto Threat? Why? or Why not?

Thanks to KOAT for hosting this on-air debate and the opportunity to add our questions. Hopefully you will use many of them. Some are a little crazy like the Patriot Dad. I guess since I disagree with him, I can't be a patriot or a dad.
I also hope there can be a similar on-air debate between Tom Udall and the June 3 winner.

Why Do you have to Run a Negative Campaign? Is it so hard to concentrate on highlighting what you have done and how it has helped New Mexicans and MORE IMPORTANTLY What you are GOING TO DO TO CHANGE Things and OUTLINING THE STEPS YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN - It would be much more interesting then complaining about each other!! Maybe people would actually be interested in listening to your ads instead of flipping the channel!!

Mr. Pearce and Mrs. Wilson you both are very up front on what we need to do for rising gas prices. The rising gas prices are forcing many Americans to choose between gas and food. Making $7.50 hour people are suffering because their income is going to gas. Mr. Pearce and Mrs. Wilson would you take the challenge of giving up your luxuries and living on a $7.50 an hour wage for a month just to see how tough it is to live on that wage? Please don't give us the same answer we have heard that its tough for Americans to live on this wage. I want to hear how we can be an equal society.

This question is for both candidates. NASA's latest mission to Mars cost $557 million. Is it money well spent? Or money wasted? Why or why not?
Best,
Matt

This question and issue is directed to both candidates and their positions regarding the so called Unity Executive Theory that has been used by the current administration to justify any and all actions of the President. This critical and flawed argument, largely made by White House Counsels Yoo and Addington, is based on tiny portions of Federalist Paper #70 taken out of context. It also totally ignores Federalist Paper #69. Both of these essays describe, explain, and clarify the thinking of the Founding Father on the separation of the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of government. It is this flawed and unconstitutional argument that has allowed "Presidential signings" regarding issues such as use of torture, the gulag at Guantanamo, and illegal information gathering.
I would like to hear each candidate clearly voice their opinion on this issue. Why or why not do they support it? If elected to the Senate what position will they take regarding this issue, possibly one of the most threatening to the Constitution in history.
Respectfully,
Jim Payne Las Cruces, NM

Rep. Wilson claims that Americans have become complacent about the Global War on Terror.
It's been 2,444 days since George Bush said he'd catch Osama bin Laden, Dead or Alive?!?!
What did the secular nation of Iraq have to do with the terrorist attacks on Nine Eleven?
Rep. Wilson claims there haven't been any attacks since Nine Eleven. What about the U.S. Military Grade Anthrax Attack? regards

No matter our personal political persuasion, most Americans believe that we should provide support for our men and women in the military when they return to home. What is your stance on revisions for the GI bill?

13.6 million of America's children live in poverty. What would you do to help families with children become economically self-sufficient and able to provide for their family's needs?
